So far we're getting positive response and I'm happy about that. People love the show and that the time has been shifted to 10:30 P.M I believe that we may garner more audience now, so let's see how it goes.Do you think that shifting show time really affects the TRP of the show, no matter how the content ofthe show is?Not really but I think the content is the first utmost thing which is required for the show to run. Even at a 5:30 P.M. slotJaana Na Dil Se Doorwas doing well. Even if you see many shows which get aired on prime time, they work out for just around 2 to 3 months. I believe story is the first thing for a show to run successfully.What according to you is important, screen space or meaningful character?A meaningful character because as an artist, we always want somethingwhich brings challenge for us to playand that automatically gets screen space if one does one's character well.Does an actor's stardom make the character successful or does the character make an actor successful?I think it is true on both sides. Many a times, it's the character which makes you successful and if you're already a superstar then anything that you'd do would be successful. Till the time you're not a superstar, you'd need a character to be a superstar but once you're a superstar, any character that you'd play would be a hit.How do you spend your spare time?Mostly, I like watching TV, reading books. I prefer staying at home and that's the best way to relax and I hate traveling a lot.Do you think Indian daily soaps needto experiment more on genres?Since past years, there have been a lot of experiments that have been done. The audience that we garner have been liking these genre shows from past many years. Anything youexperiment now wouldn't be working. Hence, lots of channels don't try to experiment much now. This is because the story works out but they don't garner TRPs.
