Okay just to be clear, Rudra's love story is not going to be dramatic. I mean when compared to his brothers. That's because I feel Rudra deserves a more real kind of love. Not the marne mitne wala type. So with that finally chapter 3 is up so happy reading to all you guys.

Chapter 3.
Soumya felt totally awkward walking out of the room. For the last 6 hours she had been taken to a designer boutique, spa and finally Oberoi mansion where three beauticians had dressed her up. To be honest she was tired. She couldn't understand how these celebrities put up with this. She felt a bit of respect for them even. She sighed. Time to go down.
She walked to the top of the gigantic staircase. She saw Rudra busy on the phone, trying to pacify a girl who he supposedly had a date with. As he was talking, he turned halfway and stopped at the site of her. Soumya felt self-conscious all of a sudden. She looked at him questioningly and her look was returned with a huge grin from his side.
"you look different. Just amazing."
"thanks I guess." Soumya said a bit awkwardly.
"okay then, time to go to the club."
Soumya hesitated a bit. "Rudra, I don't know, I mean I have never been there before."
"no wonder you were dumped." Rudra commented, rolling his eyes.
That immediately put Soumya in a somber mood. At first Rudra didn't realize it and simply kept walking towards the door. But when he noticed that she hadn't followed him he turned to her. As her head was bent down Rudra bent down to come to her face level. "is something wrong?"
"why are we doing this?"
"to make that dumbass what a big mistake he has made."
"I don't want to."
"but I do." Soumya was taken aback by the authority in his voice.
"soumya, I like you as a person. You are the topper. I mean no matter what I do I can never be like you. I think...I think I kind of respect you. And you are a friend. I mean we are friends right?"
Soumya smiled. Rudra was a ladies' man. But right now he was like a child. A child who was scared of being rejected. Realizing that he was still waiting for a confirmation on her part she happily nodded. With that even Rudra nodded happily.
Flashback end.
"hey soumya, somu? Soumyashree? Hey!!"
Soumya came out of her reverie to see Rudra waving his hands in front of her eyes. After getting her attention back Rudra went back to his bed.
"hmm...Rudra, I need to tell you something."
"yeah sure. Go ahead."
"well... I know its sudden but..." RING RING RING bro time bro time.
The sudden alarm broke Soumya mid-sentence.
Switching of his mobile Rudra said, "sorry somu. Need to go. I have to go to the hospital now and take over from Shivay bhaiya. O must be waiting."
"is he awake?"
he didn't have to answer. Soumya could read the sadness that suddenly took over his features.
"sorry" she said meekly
"it's fine. Even if he is not awake, O knows we are there. The doctor says he recovers faster when Shivay bhaiya or me are talking to him."
"and how is Shivay bhaiya doing?"
"what?" Rudra asked totally taken aback.
"well, after all this isn't he the most affected person right now? I mean with all that happened plus he has been the pillar you all are relying upon right now it must be hard for him. So how is he doing?"
Rudra stared at her for a few seconds and then blurted out, "I don't know. I didn't ask him."
"is he really fine?" Shivay asked for the nth time.
"yes Shivay. He is fine. His medicines were switched but before they were given to him it came to our notice. He hasn't got a single wrong dosage in his system." Siddhart assured him again.
"somebody is trying to kill him." Shivay said. There was tamed rage in his voice.
"somebody is trying to kill you too."
"Rudra could also be in danger." Shivay said as he got up with a jerk.
"Calm down." Siddhart said as he put his hand on Shivay's shoulder. "listen, we are not yet sure if this was just a mistake by the management staff. No need to panic. Plus, Rudra has full security with him."
"so did Om" Shivay said as he sat back down and ran his fingers through his hair. Right now he looked miserable. He was tired with dark circles forming under those pale blue eyes which once were compared to crystals. Even now he commanded authority in his every stride but still he had grown thinner.
Siddhart tried for one last time, "Shivay, please rest. You are pushing yourself too hard."
Shivay didn't bother to reply. Right now all he could think of was how to keep his mind off her. He saw her dressed in a green lehenga looking breath taking.
FOCUS' he commanded himself. He needed to focus. His brother and dadi were still unconscious. Rudra needed him right now. His Badi maa had pitched all her hope for Om's recovery on him. The company shares had taken a huge beating thanks to all the scandals they had faced. And he needed to figure out who had leaked the news of Om's addiction to the media channels. He couldn't afford to rest right now. He had to keep going.
Just then his phone rang.
"what is it?"
"sir, there is bad news."
"what?"
"Tej sir's affair news is out. A video of him and miss Shvetlana in the bar has been leaked. It's from yesterday night."
Shivay closed his eyes. Again. All he was hearing these days was bad news.
"how bad is it?"
"sir do you want the figures?"
"yes, keep them ready. I am coming to the office."
He cut the call and dialed another no which he hardly ever called.
"mom. Listen, it's a request. I know you have watched the news and so has badi maa. Please don't create a scene at home." Saying this he cut the call only to see Rudra come in the corridor. He said a quick bye to Siddhart and walked out of his cabin to meet Rudra.
"Rudra"
"Bhai"
"listen, I won't be back here till tomorrow evening. So don't till I come do not leave Om's side. At all. Do you hear me?"
"yes bhai" the caution in Shivay's tone made Rudra a bit alert.
"and no medicine should be given to Om when you are not there. And only Dr. Siddhart is allowed to give him any medication. Got it?"
Rudra nodded.
Shivay patted his shoulder and was about to walk away when Rudra stopped him.
"bhai!"
Shivay turned around and looked at him questioningly.
"bhai...are you..."
Shivay's phone rang and he picked it up.
"yes Shirish. Make sure the news is off all the channels in the next one hour. I don't want anything out there." Saying this Shivay turned around again still busy on the phone, missing Rudra's words to him.
As Rudra saw Shivay walk away he said quietly to himself, "I wanted to ask you Bhai, if you are okay? Are you tired? Does it hurt? But as always you are running ahead and I am too slow to catch up to you. And O isn't here."
"I want to love you Om. But my hatred for your name Omkara Oberoi far surpasses my need to love you."
"you don't love me. Love has no conditions. If you loved me you'd love me regardless of my name."
"true. I don't love you. I can never love you. Because I have to hate you."
He saw her walk away. She stopped at the door of his room.
"if only you were not an Oberoi."
"would it have been different?"
"yes"
"can't you just love me now?"
"if I love you I'll die. Slowly the Ishana in me will die."
"then leave. I won't stop you."
"let's hope we never meet again."
And he saw her walk into the white halo.
"Ishana...Ishana...Ishana!!"
"Bhai...O...are you okay? Nurse! Call the doctor. O has woken up. O? Can you hear me?"
Om had opened his eyes with a jerk and now all he could hear was Rudra bombarding him with questions. An annoying beeping sound was there in the background. He looked around and realized he was in the hospital.
"wh...why..." he could hear his own voice cracking.
Rudra lowered his head closer to Om's face to hear him clearly. Finally, Om said clearly, "why am I here?"
Rudra looked at him a little shocked.
"don't you remember? You met with an accident."
Om narrowed his eyes trying to recall it. After a few seconds he slightly shook his head and said, "no. I don't remember."
With that I end my chapter here. YaY!!! Omkara is finally awake. and there will be a huge revelation in the next chapter. so guys stay tuned.
