I was furious when aaru was denied from performing Tulsi's last rites and its was wrong of Aryan and even Kumu to do so no matter what people say...I will explain...
Aryan was entitled to be upset and angry with Aaru and he can kick her out of his home if he wish to do so as that is his right as an owner of mansion. He can be angry with her for supporting PVR that is understandable and could even punish her for that but what he COULD NOT do was to get to decide to deny Aaru's rights in Tulsi's funeral because this isn't about his grief and frankly it isnt about him even Aaru at that day.
on the day of the funeral is it ABOUT the deceased person and in this case it was Tulsi therefore Tulsi's wishes should been respected on her own funeral by her son, mother even her husband! Which none of them did so! If aryan chose not to listen Tulsi's kind words not to throw aaru out of the mansion then that okay as its understandable as he is the owner of that house and is entitled to have a different opinion to Tulsi but at the funeral he should have let aaru perform the last rites with him as that what tulsi would have wanted and since its Tulsi's funeral not Aryan's, aaru had as much as rights as aryan did.
Tulsi's family were told by Tulsi herself and have withessed many times how much Tulsi love aaru thus aaru should have been the one to participate in the funeral. That was a grave mistake on Aryan and Mahant's part by denying the beloved daugher of tulsi to touch her mother and to also perform the last rites alongside them. It's was arrogant, foolish and cruel move to do so. A cheap way of getting the thrill to revenge aaru and that too on Tulsi funeral l! Eventually aryan will be in clear mind and finding out the truth - Aryan will regret very badly not fufilling his mother's wishes on the day of her funeral and it is irreversible now. Mahant didn't even suggest to aryan and Kumu that Aaru should have participate and that is disappointing considering not so long ago he and Tulsi were fighting for Aaru's justice against the Raos when at the time he came to accept aaru as his beti and clearly that recent newfound love for aaru was lost. Mahant never love Aaru at all as his beti - it's was only Tulsi who did so.
The makers are foolishly sending out a message that nature is more powerful than nuture! Which is why they didn't offer a proper closure on Tulsi and Aaru's relationship. I might of felt different and even right if tulsi die later and aryan was the only one to perform the rituals of her death but not so long ago aryan was always mentioning his Pavitra aayi and then suddenly the makers have forced us within overnight with overdosed scenes of Tulsi and Aryan which now felt fake to me due to the makers' intention of turining him to be revengeful toward Raos due to his mother death. The makers should have gave more time and keep tulsi on longer to invest more scenes between her, aryan and even aaru so its would been more believable. Since we viewers have seen aaru as Tulsi's daugther for so long - it was vey odd and unfitting to see her being denied to participate in her mother's funeral. Both AaRa should have perform the rituals together. Both of them had rights. Not just aryan and not just aaru - to perform Tulsi's last rites it's required both of her children one by nuture and another by nature.
Now some people may consider that Tulsi's family were right to deny aaru from the funeral due to her calling Tulsi a devasdi but I disgreed very strongly when Tulsi as a mother had forgiven her daughter in a heartbeat knowing that her daughter did it due to being pressurised by someone and had even said that to Aryan. Then frankly, who are her family to deny aaru in her funeral and meddle in a mother and daughter's matters? To question their relationship as ma and beti. What rights did they have to do that! None at all! Aryan too had insulted Tulsi many times and before using the d-word and didn't even apologise to Tulsi but of course Kumu had forgiven him in heartbeat due to him being her own blood grandson! Such as a hypocrisy! Even if they didn't know Aaru's reasons or doubt Aaru's love they should have respected Tulsi's wishes on the day of her funeral. It is inexcusable.
At the end of day we viewers know why aaru had said that the word with the intention to protect her mother and drive her away from the Raos. Even if we don't agree with her actions we do know her intentions of doing it so isn't bad at all. Aaru knew her mother knew about her feeling and opinions about devdasvi thus she knew her mother wouldn't take it to heart since she knew her mother know her well that much. This word devdasi she used repeatingly was a hint she was sending out to her mother that something was wrong and is happening which her mother quickly picked it up and had explained aryan that aaru was not doing this freely she was being pressuurised. She knew her daughter wasn't happy at all and had implored aryan to bring her daughter back home as she knew aaru couldn't explain in the mansion but can when they are in their own home (Krishna's Nivias). She then asked her husband to start afresh in life and wanting to take AaRa with them so she can protect and safeguard both of her children aryan and Aradhya. Aaru and Tulsi's bond and relationship was real, beautiful, unique and irreplaceable. They are truly the best ma and beti duo in indian serials. Whether Aryan and Kumu realise that or not but Tulsi is alive within Aaru. Aaru is Tulsi's daughter in every way except in blood . They shared the same heart, emotions and values but the only different is aaru is stronger in handling emotions. Tulsi was only one who knew how much her beti love her. At the moment the limbo and life aryan and kumu are living in now is very bleak and they need aaru more than they realise. She carry the same soul and heart as Tulsi
