We saw a yet another opening of loops that caused a certain degree of upheaval in the forum taking imaginations, of fertile kinds, up by storm. Okay before running up-front to that part of the narration lets us take a few steps backward and look at all that transpired before that one focal point.
So the scene continued to the point when the older four of the house are discussing to split and be done with. Dadi is visibly stressed at this and Shivaay and Omkara are shaken to their core thinking of the same. The basic ingredient of isolation exists in all of us, as much as we try and deny the same. Surviving in extensions happen, only when, there is no friction from the opposite spectrum. The case with the Oberois is clearly contrary.
Friction happens when there is a clash of idea or thoughts; here the clash is with the primary existence of the other. Tej cannot stand Shakti, Shakti cannot stand Tej, Jhanvi and Pinki cannot look at each other...basically everyone has a problem with the other to such magnanimous proportion that staying together is nothing but a question of survival with each passing day. This split will happen some day, last night it was only delayed and not denied.
Kalyani might have been able to thwart the doom that had graced her doors; but she would never be able to stop the storm that has begun taking shape. The split would eventually happen and the victim would be ObBros. Yes they will land at their destination as one but before that their paths are taking different directions. What I liked the best about Kalyani and her stand was she wasn't upset at the fact that her family would break, she was upset as this was proposed by her own sons. There is no greater agony for an old woman to see her familial ties break apart at the last stage of her life. Kalyani is agitated with the same.
Shivaay promises her that come what may her grandsons would never leave each other's side. It opened another chasm. Shivaay has been the rock for so long, what if it is he who breaks next? If that indeed happens the familial ties will come tumbling down like a house of cards. Niki (mistofshadows) made a very valid statement, what is Shivaay isn't the legal heir to the throne of Oberoi business empire? That now seems possible as the only thing that can strike him down is snatching away of the name and lineage he holds as sacrament. And if he breaks down, Om and Rudra will not survive. Om is not in the condition to stand or function on his own as of now and Rudra isn't ready to burden the responsibilities. I am putting up a wild guess that Shakti and the scar-waali-aunty had a common past. If I am hitting my arrows right then Shivaay has a lot to worry over. Tej would be the first to strike him down and adding to it might be the barbs of Pinki. His future looks bleak to be precise.
As it is Shivaay is a broken man. He might take the attire of a mountain to hide his true vulnerable self; reality is he cannot really make an escape. He pulled Om out of his pains, well to an extent, but hasn't done anything for himself. The man who put an end to Omkara's substance abuse is charting the same path himself by taking medicated drugs of various orders. He might believe that prevention is better than cure, but his preventive measures are seemingly landing him to disease. I still stand to my assumption that he is someone who bypassed his childhood completely channeling his energies to creating a name for himself in the corporate world. Tej might be the one occupying the throne but people see him to be the next in line for the same. With a burden such as that, how long do you think before he falters?
There was one scene that I particularly liked and that was when Shivaay had been searching drawer's in Om's boudoir. It was not because he had an intention of taunting Om at his inability to face reality but because he wanted Om to admit it to himself that drugs and he have been another era already. He wanted Om to make it clear to himself that the darker hues of his past are over. Shivaay is unable to put words to his soothing actions and hence he looks that caustic to begin with, but then he is not. He was unable to express what he felt and therefore made Om realize what he had wanted to say all along. He knows his brother has emerged stronger than before but he also realizes that his healing is incomplete and that is the reason why he is high on alert. He knew how badly Om was affected when Pinki harshly brought the past to the fore and that is the reason why he made Om admit to himself that he had stopped creating trance with drugs. It just shows how violently Shivaay's heart beats for all those he genuinely cares about. His inability to put it across is another issue but that doesn't take away his core character at all.
CV's I have a sincere request please explore him more. He honestly has a lot more to offer than just his good looks or arrogance.
Omkara unlike his brother is able to express what he feels, but he suppresses his emotions big time knowing not what or how he is supposed to put them across. Growing up to an ambience that carried the stench of hate and apathy he found an easy escape in the temporary world that narcotics created for him. It is easier to drown in the sea of grief than swim your way across. His mother did the same, he simply followed her footsteps. He is a man who is sacred for a lifetime. It doesn't matter is he finds love, the true genuine kind, for himself, he will always look behind his back to make sure the demons he buried aren't coming to haunt him back. For a man who cannot love his own being, it is easy to await death by defiling the life that has been given to him.
I am now sure that he wasn't hurt at the fact that Pinki cruelly pulled down the curtains for the world to see him raw and naked. He was hurt at the fact that he survived that ordeal and is now brought back to feel the very pain he had tried to escape once. That particular moment when he dismissed Shivaay and crawled up in his bed shutting out the world just showed the turmoil he lives with every waking hour. He might be nearing his healing but a minor setback, especially at this time, would throw him down the deep pits he crawled his way through. He lives with the pain in his heart, and is unable to let it out. When pain coils within you and you are unable to shake it off, then you have great cause to be harassed about. He might be the dormant Alpha who would rip apart the world if someone tries to even think of harming his brothers, but he will never wield a weapon for himself and that is his undoing. He is a lone soldier, thoroughly defeated and depressed, but he is holding his guard only to shield what he takes as of utmost importance in his life.
I want him to be taken slow; he needs to open up completely before he can have a romantic angle added to him. A request from all of us creative team.
And now the fun one. Is it just me or Rudra really lights up the screen when he makes his appearance? Once the lights were out, he did a goomnaam-hai-koi jig moving around with candle as you find old ghost do. What's more is he replied to his dadi saying: "Main raat mein candle lekar ghoom raha hoon. Bewakoofi toh tab hoti jab din mein lekar ghoomta. Logic dadi!"😆 This guy is the most adorable thing to have happened to us. After having shocked Dadi by his intelligence, he then moves on to impart some of it to Omkara, who by then had happily dosed off only to wake up with a start and slap Rudra in his state of half-consciousness.😆
Trust me that scene was a play by play of what happens on most of the nights between me and my brother. Apparently my chotey remembers thing of crucial importance only after the clock has struck twelve; and I have to sacrifice my goodnight sleep to listen to and sort his mess out. So anyways Rudra comes to Om so that he can join him in a prayer to the Angels to stop the wedding of their beloved elder brother and a certain Lady Baba. When Om inquires who taught him the same he replies Richa, "jiske left thigh par ek til hai". Apparently aath ghantey kaafi hain Rudra ke liye intimate honey ko!🤣
Omkara had a look of utter disbelief and he had been suppressing his will to murder Rudra then and there but he was sold out into praying to the angels pulling Shivaay into the madness too!😆😆 And then they pray collectively to Demons over a plan chit! (That was the way to call the demons and not angels and seeing Rudra the angels would probably run away lifting their shiny white robes😆) I was half surprised when the gates of hell did not open and the demons didn't beat the shit out of Rudra for having disturbed their sanity that was earned after giving up human forms.🤣
And then Rudra is hungry too so the other halves of his brethren have to cook for our dear prince! And hey people discovery of the millennium, Maggi is male as no female can get ready in just two minutes! The ObBros are love and there is no denying it.❤️
Now coming to the serious points. The scar-waali-aunty manages to sneak in the Oberoi Mansion and switch off the lights. Two questions, what lousy bunch of security does the Oberoi have that anyone can enter their premises? Be it that woman or Anika? And second how difficult was it for the security team to find the fuse box and replace the fuse in there? Common we normal folks with normal money are able to do that why not the rich creamy quota? That was lame writing to be honest.
Also by hitting on the lights kya ukhaad kya liya us scar-waali-aunty ne? And who sneaks on others house wearing so much of jewelry? Don't these people know that you are bound to drop them leaving behind a mark of identification for the enemy? I mean whatever happened to the common sense? And anika entered the premises without any security guard interrogating her? How? Aren't they supposed to be maalik of pandrah hazaar carore kii property'? Don't tell me they can't even hire proper guards. What was that seriously?
Skipping over the general tashan of Shivika. The makers have invented 100G speed for themselves and are mounting on the same.
But precap has caught my attention. If Shivaay is thinking what I think he is thinking, then trust me Anika is to land in a soup!
