The Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos has finally narrowed down its release in March 2017. From what we hear, this will be the last of the many delays that has been happening with the release date of the film since 2015.
The detective thriller was supposed to hit the screens by the end of July or August in 2016, however, the shoot of the film is yet to be completed. Revealing details of the same, producer Siddharth Roy Kapur has mentioned that they will be shooting the last leg of the film in September after which they will be deciding on the release date of the film. However, it has been learnt that the makers are contemplating on releasing Jagga Jasoos either on March 24 or March 31 next year. This is not the first time where the film has been postponed as it was initially supposed to release in 2015, even before, Ranbir's last film Tamasha. But it is being said that there have been several reasons for the delay, one of them being that some major portions from the film had to be re-shot. Besides that, speculations were rife about the film facing another setback after the alleged break-up of the lead pair - Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.
Directed by Anurag Basu, Jagga Jasoos has been shot in varied locations like Shimla, Morocco, Thailand among others.
