Anybody else find these songs a little bit disturbing to say the least as to how they seem to be fascinated with 16 year olds? There are so many songs where the heroine is either griping that she is turned 16 or the hero praising her for all her jawani, or complimenting on her blouse size etc? Just a quick google search gave me these many songs. 😆

But I believe that is between two equally similar age of people? In some countries if both the guy and a girl for example school students who are around 16 the laws have been lenient however here in this song we are talking about full on uncles who are 35+ 😆

haha lole nope it was actually the kajol Im 16 song which came up automatically in my youtube playlist and I was like 😆

Most guys have a fascination of girls of the age from 16-20 cos they are considered very young and innocently beautiful/sexy, tight-bodied or something 😆 sexist as hell. But there are also guys who like much older women and only find them attractive so I guess it's all just what people are attracted to and their preference.

Kajol was actually 16 or 17 when she debuted, that is the irony here. Sridevi was even younger, 13 I think when she did her first adult role opposite Kamal and Rajni. Dimple was 15 or 16 or younger during Bobby ? I think Nargis was also a teen when she debuted if I am not mistaken. These real age debuts are far more disturbing to me than songs.

ETA: Wasn't Divya Bharati in her teens too when she debuted ? IDK much about her age except she died young.
