Most of us non-muslims don't want to read the koran and we are not required to. Why do the replies always end up with "did you read the koran?" There is enough academic material available to learn without actually reading the koran.

Btw, I did once read a couple pages of the koran in English and yes, even those pages were full of violence and killing.

Look, even the bible has violent passages and most Muslims and christians are not violent obviously because they ignore that stuff but in the case of terrorism, these people are reading and reacting exactly to that material. You can't just wash your hands off them and claim they're not muslim because you don't like what they do.

In that case, any time a man rapes, people can start shouting "He is not a man!! He is non-gender!!"

Yeah right , on one hand you guys claim muslims only worry about religion and that's the 1st and foremost thing for them but only in India muslims follow a different route ...for your info we have also read the same quran . Women get raped daily everywhere , how many cases have you seen of stoning in india, pakistan, bangladesh, Malysia, UAE , singapur , Turkey, etc etc

Killing is wrong be it Muslims, Non muslims, Animals or whatever.. That is what our religion teaches us and since these people indulge in killing, they are not part of our religion.. Thats all

Because India is a secular country. We don't have a law which approves of stoning of any kind now does it follow a religion as a state policy. The reason the spotlight is on Saudi is because of it's funding of these outfits. Read up what happened with Kosavo and Saudi influence. The problem here is , Saudi support of outfits in Middle East has flared this mess. Turkey for long was accused of supporting ISIS and going after Kurds. It is after few recent govt. internal affairs you had thi blast which AQ criticised for targeting Muslims and your ISIS didn't even claim the usual responsibility because they cannot afford to do that in Sunni area.

Like you said, why do people associate Islam with Saudi and not with India ( exactly why ISIS muslim doesn't consider you as a Muslim and he goes by his/her interpretation) . Saudi is a power center for Islam , financial power- Islamic state, unlike India which is a secular state-meaning state won't make decisions based on religion.

I wish people would not open such threads here, they only lead
To negativity & religious division, just feelings etc esp when Eid is around the corner, the attack on S Arabia is most baffling though as everyone knows the major revenue for terrorists comes from there but RIP. It's terrifying to see how no-one, not a single person/country/community is safe anymore.

I bet these experts must have missed the part that we are strictly prohibited from killing even a mosquito while performing hajj ( no ifs and buts )
