Twinj OS : Fighting through the pain.

This takes place after Kunj was shot.Anita was instantly arrested,Yuvi was ashamed so he left their lives and Kunj after being treated was back home.There was no leap and stuff.

After being kept under special supervision by the doctors,Kunj was back home after a month.

A lot had changed in this one month.The Luthra's had left their lives,Manohar's wedding planning business became a success and finally there was happiness in the Sarna household.

When Kunj first entered the house,he was greeted with a pooja ki thali and the smiling faces of his family.

Since he was still weak due to the high doses of medicines,he was forced to rest in his room.

His food and the other necessities were to be provided to him in the room.

Usha - "Twinkle putar Tu bhi jaa kar aaram karle.Waise bhi Kunj ke welcome ke chaakar mein subhe se yahan wahan bhag rahi hai.Jaa aur ja kar Kunj ke saath thodha waqt bita."

Recalling Usha's words,Twinkle entered the room to find Kunj half lying down on the bed with his back leaned against the headboard,staring at the ground.

It looked like he was in a deep thought.

Flashback

At the Hospital
Psychiatric ward

Doctor - "Good morning Mrs.Sarna mein Dr.Mehra Hun aapke pati Kunj ki doctor."

Twinkle - "Good morning doctor.Aapne yahan mujhe Achanak kyun Bulaya? Sab theekh toh hain na? Kunj?"

Doctor - "Haan Mrs.Sarna aap bilkul Chinta mat kijiye Kunj bilkul theekh hai."

Twinkle sighed in relief

Doctor - "Mujhe actually Aapse unke condition ke baare mein baat karni hai."

Twinkle - "Condition?"

Doctor - "Ji.Dekhiye aapke pati Kunj ko hydrophobia."

Looking at Twinkle's confused
expression,she continued

Doctor - "Let me explain.Hydrophobia is a state when a person is scared of water.Woh paani ke paas jaana toh dur,Woh paani ko dekhna bhi pasand nahi karte.Seeing water can be very dangerous to the patient,they can suffer from panic attacks."

Twinkle stared at the doctor in shock.She could feel the floor below her spinning.This cannot be happening.First sickle cell anemia and now this?

Doctor - "Dekhiye Mrs.Sarna ghabrane ki koi baat nahi hai,this can be treated."

Twinkle - "Lekin doctor Kunj ko Achanak yeh phobia?"

Doctor - "The thing is when Kunj was shot,he fell into the sea.Kunj ko Waise bhi swimming nahi Aati so when he fell,he must have struggled a lot trying to get out of the water which gave birth to the phobia.Yeh ek Bohot hi common cheez hai with the patients who have been through traumatized events."

Twinkle still wasn't convinced.

Doctor - "Dekhiye,Iss ka sirf ek hi solution hai.Humme Kunj ko thoda waqt dena hoga.Try to keep him happy,pamper him and most importantly take care of him.Usse iss waqt sabse zyada aapki zaroorat hai.He's in a very sensitive state.And yes,try to keep him away from water."

Twinkle - "Don't worry doctor,mein Kunj ka pura dhyan rakhungi"

Flashback ends.

Twinkle sat beside Kunj

Twinkle - "Kunj,ab kaisa lag raha hai?"

Kunj - "Mein theekh Hun Twinkle,bas thodi weakness hai,zyada kuch nahi,don't worry."

Twinkle smiled,even in his weak state he still cared about Twinkle.

Twinkle was about to get up to go to the washroom when Kunj held her hand making her stop.

Kunj - "Twinkle?"

Twinkle - "Haan"

Kunj - "Please mujhse dur mat jaana"

Twinkle smiled at his innocence.

She went and sat near him again.He slowly placed his head on her lap and she instantly started stroking his hair.

Suddenly they heard a knock at the door.
It was Ishaan.

Twinkle - "Arre Ishaan baba aap yahan?"

Ishaan - "Haan woh chachi Bebe ne chachu ki medicines bheji hai."

Hearing his partner's voice,Kunj got up from Twinkle's lap.

As soon as he saw the glass of water in Ishaan's hand,the blood drained off from his face.

Twinkle looked at his pale colourless face which only showed pain and fear.

Kunj had started sweating,closed his eyes and started breathing heavily.

All those flashbacks of that dreadful incident had started coming back to him.

Twinkle instantly understood,she took the glass and the medicines from Ishaan before bidding him goodnight.

She slowly kept the glass of water under their bed and looked at Kunj.

He was nowhere in sight.

Panicking,she got up and called out to him.Hearing no response,she went to check in the bathroom only to see it empty.

She decided to check in the balcony before she would frantically start screaming and gathering all the family members to look for Kunj.

She went outside in the balcony to find it empty again.

Twinkle started walking towards the door when she heard small sobs coming from the corner of their room behind their giant yellow chairs.

Twinkle slowly walked towards it and what she saw broke her down into a million pieces.

Her once full of life husband was crying hugging himself with his head buried inside his legs.

The sight Infront of her made her realise how weak Kunj had become and before she knew it,she had started crying as well.

Building up a little courage,she went near Kunj and sat down beside him.

She slowly touched his shoulders.

Her one touch was enough for Kunj to break down further into large sobs.

Twinkle didn't stop him,after all he had suffered a lot.He had to vent it out.

Kunj bend down further and hugged Twinkle's stomach as he continued crying.

The position they were sitting in was uncomfortable but nothing mattered right now to them other than being with each other.

After hours and hours of crying,Twinkle heard small sniffs from Kunj before he fully stopped crying.

She then made him get up and cupped his face.

Twinkle - "I love you"

Kunj looked at her with moist eyes.

Twinkle - "I know this is hard for you Kunj.I know what you're going through but you have to be strong not for yourself but for us. You can't let this affect you.You're not my Kunj,my Kunj was strong.Kunj tumhe kuch nahi hoga,kuch nahi hone dungi tumhe,yeh mera wada hai.We have to fight through this"

Kunj - "What if we can't?"

Hearing his innocent question welled up Twinkle's heart.

"That's impossible",stated Twinkle.

Twinkle - "Tumhi ne toh sikhaya hai ke face your fears.And that's exactly what you're going to do."

"I love you too Twinkle",said Kunj as he pecked Twinkle's lips.

Twinkle slowly made him stand up and walked with him towards the bed.

Making him lie down,she put the blanket on top of him.

Kunj - "Twinkle?"

Twinkle - "Hmm"

Kunj - "Mein tujhse wada karta Hun,I'll be strong.Not for me but for us.We'll fight through this I promise."

Twinkle smiled through her tears.

She bend down to peck his hair and whisper an 'I love you' before she saw Kunj close his eyes with a big smile on his face.

That's what life is all about isn't it? No matter what life throws at you,if you have your love with you,YOU CAN FIGHT THROUGH THE PAIN.
