You've caught the nerve of the character, a character that's the center of the universe but it's still not important. A character that's show shallow that more than her emotions she bothers about the clothes, make up, and print of the quilt... So daft 😆 And you've only shown that daftness in a comical light here AND I LOVED IT. Maybe the first piece of fiction I've read which is ONLY based on Shagun and I didn't finch for a second.
I read this twice... disjointedly yesterday and properly today and enjoyed it so much 😳
My favorite bits are
Sometimes Khanna, always trying to be Bhalla and always Arora 🤣 I cracked up so so so bad..that was BANG ON.
Her plans for Ruhi going unnoticed, arranging Raman's shirts and managing Toshi's emotions 😆 😆 I can actually imagine her saying all that to herself...
Amazing how you pointed out in a way how her favorite kids are those for whom she is the apple of the eye, when it should be the other damn way 😆
And like I said you understand the character so bloody well... And it's amazing how its Shagun who we understand the most and not leads 😆
That NGO para 😆 even that's all about what the women feels she wears and not the kind of lives they live.
Bang on with including the difference between both the attires...of either ladies 😆😆 It's like our WA's convo spoofed here
OH HOW I LOVE the flashback. I know it's a spoof and it's a comical version/ mocking of the real moment. But I love the feel of her being ignored...and Ishita being cared over her. 😆 And it's a spoof but I still enjoyed it seriously 😆
AND COMING TO THE DAMN HIGH POINT. The one scene or imagination that lead to this and I can't get the mental image out of my damn head 😆 Shagun actually scrubbing off the whites from herself and then mentally ruminating and dying over what shade she actually is and what she wants to be... and ultimately left confused about her identity and necessity as we are...

I absolutely love this phase when you're so involved into writing such amazing stuff. And every one of your work exceeds the other. I know how easy it is to write on Shagun, because of how shallow and wafer thin the character is. ESPECIALLY since there's no deep emotion or complexity to fry brain over... SO I am sure you had a gala time Nids..
