I wasn't exactly comparing the personalities. I was comparing the situations for they are eerily similar.

Karn had lied to Parashuram about his lineage which got him the curse. Astika had tried to snatch a child from a mother's bosom.

Both these are quite big occurrences and any curse from a Guru or a Mother are known to be powerful.

That's where Astika's similarity to Karn surfaces.

And I wasn't aiming to offend anyone, it was just my opinion!

Hmm!! So Arjun is set in his journey towards his destination.His character is evolving.

Astika's character has evolved too.But it has taken a darker and more ruthless form.
