Kareena kapoor khan announced baby news to her producers a month before making it public

Kareena Kapoor Khan probably remembers all too clearly how she had stepped in to do Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's sudden announcement of her pregnancy. ARB had kept her baby news hidden from her producers, who considered this a breach of contract and replaced the actress. Bebo had stepped into that part, which not many actresses were keen to take up, lest they antagonise the Bachchan family. While there have been whispers that Bebo was expecting, the actress hadn't confirmed it, choosing to simply say she would announce it to her fans when the time was right. But the actress was open with her Veere Di Wedding producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. When they met her for the dates, she clearly told them that she was expecting her first child and she still wanted to do the film, so if they wanted her to be part of the film, they would have to prepone the film. She didn't want it to come as a shock to her producers once the shooting began. She didn't want to put them in an awkward situation. A source tells us, "Ekta and Rhea decided to still go on floors with Bebo. They were pleased with Bebo's honesty and since Kareena and Sonam's pairing would be the biggest highlight of the chick flick, they didn't want to change the cast. They preponed the shoot to August, so that they could wrap the film before Kareena's delivery in December."
