Shoojit: Three heroine film?

Post Piku, Shoojit Sirkar may direct a women-centric film based on three generations. Says a source, "Shoojit is keen to cast Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Rani Mukerji and Parineeti Chopra in it and has already approached them. If Rani says yes it will be her first after the birth of her baby daughter Adira, for Madhuri it will be her come back from the small screen. Parineeti hasn't worked in a three-heroine film since Ladies vs Vicky Bahl. All three protray strong characters bound together by family ties and if Shoojit gets all of them on board it will be quite a casting coup."

Will Shoojit work with Parineeti? He was really upset when she rejected Piku. Otherwise, the casting sounds exciting. How come DP is not in the mix though?

Or you never know, very soon we will hear KJo is producing and Alia is onboard. 😆

First of all Shoojit already made a statement on twitter when Filmfare made this news so he actually denied the casting news and i also think that Shoojit will have DP definetely in his next if Juhi Chaturvedi writes the script. Also Rajeev mentioned that she will work with him again besides SLB.

More like the other two roles have been changed to male characters and will star Varun/Arjun and Sidharth/Fawad

KJo declares it as yet another casting coup 😆

Sounds like an interesting casting. I am happy that finally Parineeti seems to be branching out of YRF and to directors who write good roles for women. She still has age on her side and can catch up. Lets see if Madhuri and Rani come on board. It will be good to have three of my favorite actresses in the same film.

I dont think Madhuri will play someone from older generation. Hasn't she refused Baghban and DDD?

Pari had rejected Piku ? 😲 Which movie she gad chosen instead ? Kill Dil ?
