Omkara's lyrical prose about love to his brother today was interesting. As someone who himself doesn't claim to believe in love, he has a very rose-coloured and fairytale like view of it. His advice to Shivaay today revealed a lot about him. Omkara may not believe in love for himself, but he does believe in love. That all encompassing, all consuming, beautiful soulmate kind of love. He believes in that fairytale and maybe he always has, just as children do. As a child he had to see his own parents marriage and love suffer, so perhaps he wrote himself a fairytale of what love should be. Maybe he thinks himself incapable of it, but he certainly, definitely and maybe defiantly believes in it. I don't know what this means for when Omkara falls in love. As someone who believes in the concept, the idea, the magic of what love is, he runs from it when it comes down to himself. I think it will take a very headstrong girl to convince and to make Omkara believe that she genuinely loves him. He needs someone who is not afraid of his insecurities and doubts and fears, instead she will shed his inhibitions one by one, until he sees his own heart reflected in her. Omkara will need someone who will stay with him through thick and thin and prove to him that love can be just as lasting as he believes it to be magical.
Seeing this boy fall in love though, will truly be something magical 😳
