Okay before I begin I need to rant and rant it out of my system that how much I would like to murder my paid cable guy. The entire Star network is wiped off and I had to hit to the Tube to watch the episode and it cost me freakin' 200 MB, and that is when I am on a tight plan of limited data usage. I might as well have to stop if it doesn't appear by tonight. Couldn't these people wipe out Zee or Rangeela network...my life would be certainly less of drama.😡😡
Anyways now that I have the stuff that I missed out on yesterday, I begin letting you know what exactly is now looming over my head. The episode began with the brothers discussing about Shivaay and his fetish for judging people based on their lineage and birth. While it is okay delve into the familial traits that are not all that counts. A person's worth is much, much more than just his family name. Rudra and Om try putting the fact across only to meet with a firm refusal. Shivaay lives by mohabbat hoti nahi aur jung mein sab jaayaz hai.' He doesn't believe in love, or him marriages exists only out of convenience and not out of love. And that is what he is doing with Tia. His marriage to her is nothing but sealing the 15oo million rupee deal to its finality. Though it sounds and appears cruel to use a woman as leverage to secure one's financial stand, this is what he has learnt. His own family is a prime example of having relations just for the sake of social status. Espousal love has hardly existed there for the only love that has existed in the Obroi household is love for power.
Om is visibly disappointed with Shivaay for having chosen such a loveless path for himself that too with a girl who is so materialistic that she will never be able to judge Shivaay more than a profitable business venture. While I was really happy for Om having taken a stand for his beloved brother, it seemed a bit out his own set character. In the promos we were introduced to a passionate artist who despises relations or so called perfect relations as that is a non-existent entity. Him going ways and beyond and hoping against all logical reasoning for Shivaay to fall in love felt like juxtaposing of bipolar thoughts. If anyone at all then it should be Om who should despise this concept of love and relationships as he has hardly seen that exist between his parents...who visibly live at two polar opposites of a spectrum.
Rudra is a sweetie pie. He hilariously points out that Tia and Shivaay have never really behaved like the candy-floss couple and that is hence the reason why they are unfit for each other. He even goes on to say that they have never given each other nicknames calling each other Tiu or Shibu! Well Rudra I am with Shivaay on this that you don't have to sugar-coat stuff to make it look believable foe everyone. And calling one Shibu is downright disgusting. My maternal side of the family addresses me so and trust me I hate it with all possible vehemence out of me. I mean what kind of a name is Shibu? Oh I know a horrible one. -_-
Next thing was that Dadi gets to know that her sons had indeed lied to her with the Maha Aarti incident and she in probability is shattered to know the same. I felt sorry for her. She has been living in delusion for long thinking and coming up with impossibilities that even though her sons aren't cordial with each other, at least they aren't the ones with a dark heart. Now that the truth is out in the open she has no further false hopes to cling on to. No wonder she keeps praying to every deity out there to keep her grandsons together and their unity safe. The man who died was in constant contact with the original Obroi brothers and yet they smoothly denied being a part of the fiasco. It must have had been a severe blow to Kalyani to see her sons go this astray in finding power for themselves. But what really caught my attention was the fact that Kalayni isn't a woman who will allow anyone to spoon feed her lies. She'd take things in her own hands and set the matter right. I love this strong woman. No wonder the Oberoi Dada married this strong willed Dadi.
Now with Anika who revealed her another fears. The strong, determined and almost volcanic woman here also hides glacial fears and pain in her frame and there is nothing that she can possibly do about it other than suppressing it once in every while. So as a young child she had lost her blood sister to darkness and now that murky shadow scares her. No wonder she is so worried and on the edge about Saahil. Okay and Saahil and Anika give us another set of sibling goals. I loved it when Saahil calmed her down saying uss andhere se bhi kya darna jissey judnoo bhi hara deta ho'. That was a beautiful scene that elated my heart and also got my mind thinking. We all know that Rudra will have a shy, wallflower opposite him...my mind tells me that Anika's younger sister whom she lost will be the one to fall for Rudra. I mean you could clearly see that in Anika's dream her younger sister was a submissive thing...so maybe Neha;s character would be both Rudra's lover and Anika's sister. For we all know that bichde hue bhai/behen sells like hot cake on TV. Even in chaar sher's last outing we had two sisters reuniting after having seen turbulent times. Also Surbhi needs to tone down while portraying character hysteria. She did overdo it in yesterday's episode.
The clichd confrontation between Shivaay and Anika honestly held nothing for me. I don't understand as to why are they rushing with the love story? The more they rush and the more I find myself developing an aversion to the same. If they indeed want us to fall in love with their love then they will have to let it sink in. Shivaay and Anika are racing off with rocket speed and that is skirmish. Also why is Anika so deep in one moment and so glossy in the other? In normal scenarios no girl would be that mad to sit down in the middle of the road as though she owns it, neither in her sane mind who she argue with a random stranger. This fictitious tale is honestly too much to take in at once. Also the brothers discussing with Dadi Shivaay's potential love story in parallel makes me fear the worse. Are they going to sell us romance on the ticket that clearly reads bromance? If I liked Anika the other day, I am sorry I am back to being ambivalent towards her.
And Navina Bole as Tia is such a poor choice. I mean she has by now played innumerable characters and her acting still has shown zilch improvement. She bugs me big time with her under average performance. I really can't understand as to why the makers have picked her in the first place? They certainly could have done better. I am with Rudra in disliking this overtly fake woman.😳
And the precap. Well it is IPKKND again everyone. They honestly need to stop their own shows now. Yes!🤓
P.S. The highlight of the day was Rudra with his epic dialogue: Tum mujhe khoon do main tumhe pyaar doonga. Someone create a thread for his epic one-liners already!😆
