Award functions come with their own set of flaws. And when an event that magnanimous is held, errors are taken in stride. But a recent event that was concluded in a swanky overseas location was a dud beyond description. Non A-listers were left in the lurch as the organizers busied themselves in massaging the egoes of the bigger stars. Though two top superstars of the coming decided to give it a miss; one citing ethical reasons, the other wary after his past experiences with the same awards venture. We also heard that a young superstar who was touted to be the next big thing a few years back was conveniently not sent out an invitation. Missed their attention? Could be. What didn't miss anyone's attention was how two young actors, both star kids were asked to shorten their performances so that more stage time could be devoted to the stars whom the janta would prefer watching. Every awards show is a TRP raking, money making exercise but people shouldn't forget how to be hospitable. Atithi Devo Bhav is something to learn...

The gorgeous actress recently performed at an award show in Spain where she sang and danced to a medley of her latest hits. While people are going gaga over it, according to a report in a tabloid, the actress is rumored to have been paid Rs. 2 crore for her act.

A source informed the tabloid about the same and also added that these prices were unheard of in Bollywood. In fact, such a price has been given only when a pair of A-list emcees hosted an award show together (Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor).
