Until a few days back, Priyanka Chopra was in Paris, France, to promote her American TV show, Quantico. The star arrived in Madrid on Wednesday (June 22), and was in no mood to mince her words. When the media asked her for her reaction to Salman Khan's recent controversial comment, she was quick to say, "You should ask the person who made the comment. In reality, there are so many brutal cases happening in India. Why is no one talking about those issues? A lot has been said about the Salman comment. I don't want to add to the noise. I would rather put the spotlight on real issues. Instead, We must talk about how to treat women better."

If this comment was made by some Politician, Priyanka and company would have Tweeted and RTedthe hell out of this issue to shame the politician and gain brownie points.

sorry, but everyone (barring a few) are only trying to dodge the question or rather avoid speaking against salman. She never said that Salman was wrong ...rather she wants us to focus on real issues.

the question is - isn't there a certain mindset that associates rape with only forceful sex and physical assault... while totally ignoring or unaware of the emotional, psychological and social impact on the victim. Is this not the reason why still so many people are not serious about rape in India. Is this not a real Issue?

She raised a Valid question,There has been Rape cases in India Post the Comment but No one Talks about that...What will we do With his Apology?His Crass Comment Deserves no more Attention then the Actual victims..
