what was that in 3 idiots

whole 15 minutes comedy scene based on 2 words "Balatkar" & Balatkaari"

Aamir, sharman, madhavan had a blast laughing in it, whole nation had a laugh in it, film is considered to be the best film in bollywood, cult classic.

same aamir fans now are upset over salman's example which he didn't meant intentionally, was his mistake, but was it so bad that u had to crucify him over this?

3 Idiots scene was scripted, reharsed, now think how many times they have made fun of Rape which means Balatkar in hindi, rapist is balatkaari?

When film came there was no nirbhaya case, so no one objected, but there weren't any rape or rape victim anywhere?

Hypocrisy at it's best 👏

PS: This post isn't made to allow this word to use in any way. Salman was wrong & so was others. I ain't supporting this word to apply anywhere. Talking about bashing which salman is getting for this comment & for his past cases.

Not cruel at all. It's pretty cool. Let's apply this word on our mothers and sisters

3 Idiots context wasn't bad, but salman's intentions were, go on your blind hate for him. He is moron to use that example, but trolling he is getting is for his past things (cases).

This is a good point. And all I can say is - I didn't find that scene funny. In fact I went to watch with a group of male+female friends while in college, and it was rather embarrassing for me.

I could not enjoy this scene and don't think will ever be able to enjoy that. And neither can I support Salman's quote here.

The word Rape, while being used in any context except the ACTUAL incident, demeans the importance of the issue and struggle of the victim.

But yes, people who enjoy such scenes like 3 Idiots or Dilwale where they make plan to harass Kajol as part of Joke/Prank etc etc but are bashing Salman right now, do come across as hypocrites. I remember I also liked the Dilwale scene (but not 3Idiot one). But shouldn't have 🤢

Suddenly a movement is stirred against salman, he is wrong, no doubt, criticize him for his words, but ppl using their hate for him to spread all this. Their hate is clearly visible when they bring things like drunk driving, beating women, hunting cases, now what all those things has to do with what he said in interview.

It all depends on context, Salman did not used the word "rape", he included woman. He simply though it is funny to compare his pain post his shoot was similar to a raped woman who cannot walk properly because of the vaginal injury they suffer. Had he said he felt like being raped because he had to bare himself apart from longot, although still stupid, could have passed off as lack of articulation , as it would mean he was trying to say his dignity got hit. But comparing himself with raped woman? That is plain dumb.

Someone we comment "Messi raped Real Madrid defense". Is it wrong?? Yes but depends on place to place situation to situation , as the context people use here rape=destruction/plunder. So better to avoid it in places where the word is sensitive.

As for three idiots, it did not glorified the rapists, it was rather a very different concept of making people understand what can happen if you read and memorise without understanding.

I found 'I couldn't walk straight' pukeworthy, anyone else did?
This was worse than drunk driving and killing

It is not worse than killing but i agree on the stupidity of the comments . First i thought it was about dignity, later after listening to his audio, i realised dude is talking about the vaginal damage woman suffer during forced penetration. Seriously stupid comment.
