What!! But how!! Ooo I got it now! It's not somu's marriage I think. Harman's marriage is fixed to Surbhi and may be during phera he saw somu and did something like putting sindoor on her forehead...

Soumya can't step out of the house... Maybe this way it will open the door for somu to step out in the world
