Apoorva's back with a bang

He made a name for himself with Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin but then Apoorva Agnihotri starred in a blunder called Kaajal, which did little to enhance his career. He's now signed Radha Ki Betiyaan with Surpriya Pilgaonkar for yet-to-be-launched GEC channel NDTV Imagine. Apoorva has quite an interesting role in the show. "The role is of a simple guy who helps the three girls realise their dreams in Mumbai. I am opposite Mona Vasu in the show," says Apoorva. Apoorva is also going to take on yet another show but doesn't want to talk about it right now. And for a change he isn't looking at films. Is it a case of once bitten twice shy?

Now helping out three sisters at a time sounds really interesting 😉 ..Looks like he is back with his Armaan Sir Act mayb 😳

And if Kaajjal was a blunder for his career then how he is getting nominated in all the Awards this year?? 😕 ..I think these Nominations r done based on popularity of an actor only 😳 ..and he was nominated just because his character of DPS got immense popularity inspite of the serial doing not too well 😃 ...So basically its the makers who did a blunder with Kaajjal and not Apu 😃 ...Journos should get their facts right first 😊

I agree Jo, these journos should get their facts right. Apu has never looked towards Bollywood ever since he made it on tv as Armaan Sir. These guys just write anything. Never do their homework properly!!! 😡

I think they still remember him In Pardes that they keep hinting towards bollywood. 😉

Maybe the line should be 'For a change unlike other actors he's not looking towards Bollywood' 😆

Wow shruti Thanks a lot for the article !! today I was watching showbiz india and they showed Apurva and Mahima chaudry Pardes team " Do dil mil Rahe Hai " mostly showeds srk but glimpses of Apu and he winked !!! 😳 >. I am eagerly wating for apu to come on small screen !! He is better off with us here than big screen !! It makes him closer to us all !!! 😳
