no body is perfect nor nimmi is
this makes her character more realistic

very true bt stil as a mother of two children nimmi should be more carefull and impartial with her both children

Totally agree, she is failing as a mother

i admit she love her both children but she also should express her feelings properly if she would not failed here then survi will never turn negative inspite of all provocation of her father and granny

Indeed. She is not equally treating her children.

But I can't blame her either. She is extremely completely and emotionally attached to Soumya. It's very hard for a mom to treat both children equally since one of them has shit life and needs sympathy all the time. Surbhi needs love attention and care just like Soumya. In this tough time her bloody husband need to take care of them especially Surbhi..instead he is seperating them (lakheer shit) trying to poison her mind. Obviously Nimmi is all alone in this situation it's not easy for her to pay attention to both equally. There come situations where she has to choose between Surbhi and Soumya all the time... since she is emotionally attached to Soumya she will pick her unintentionally.
When they become adults Surbhi is gonna hate her mom and will be jealous of Soumya. I wish Nimmi and the kids left the bloody house only then she would have been able to take care of both children equally.

she wanted to go bt kids stop her to go away from maninder

Agreed...she is not good mother to survi
she is treating survi like a step mother
Don't know what's the matter with her...
Ek ko itna pyar aur dusre ki bilkul parvah nhi
Lagta hi nhi survi nimmi ki hi beti hai

Its good that she treats Soumya especially but kal kuch jyada hi ho gya...

she is under pressure bt still she should do justice with her both children

Agreed to some extent but if you see that soumya had a kind of disability and mothers tend to give more attention to children who are not normal. Happens in real life also..you can see cases where other is neglected because of sibling's disability. It was a normal for Nimmi too.

yes i agree its normal bt still its very prominent sab ki aankhon me khatk ta hai she should be more caring on survi she also a baby she also needs her moms love care and affection

Nimmi is not a perfect mom but she is more human than other characters on the show.

In general I hate the idea of "perfect mom" or "perfect dad". No parent or person is ever perfect. Most parents do their best for their kids in their given circumstances. Similarly Nimmi is doing her best. She loves both her daughter but one requires not just love but protection as well. She only has so much capacity to simultaneously fighting her husband/MIL, protecting Soumya, and taking care of the kids.

I don't blame her for not being able to pay enough attention to Surbhi. I blame for her continuing to stay in the house with these callous people and continuously putting her daughter at risk. Soumya did not want to leave, but it was in her best interest. Nimmi, as a mother, needed to take the tough decision of giving tears and pain to Soumya temporarily for a peaceful life in long term.

lets wait the girls to grow up then we can judge wheather nimmi was r8 or wrong
