Nitya,

I think most of us have a tolerance level after which each one of us give up . Mine was the leap and not only coz of Eisha leaving but the disregard of the PH for throwing away the one thing that worked for the show . The Ishq and that was Misha and their bond. Kamini became such a serpent that she swallowed everything . Since then it's only Mish who nowadays is there for 5 mins that keeps me going .

Yours seems to be A kid between Vip and Kam ..

Tbh the show has been in a decline for quite sometime it's just us who have been holding on.

As for other shows neither do I care or watch . This was a beautiful show which the Ph killed by their own bare hands.

For me it's not only the leap or Eisha leaving that makes me totally disgusted. Where was the story going great before the leap ? The downslide started after Vidha engagement and it's come to this sorry state.
And why only Colors. All channels show crap. I was watching a show on & tv where the Male protagonist turns into a tiger. Supernatural beings, second marriages with the first wife still living are supposed to be the norm of the day in tellyland. This I read a few days back in a tabloid. This is supposed to sell.
Yes our show started with an amazing , absolutely unique concept but the makers spoilt it soon enough. I don't know who is more at fault-the trp hungry channel or the stupid makers for churning out rubbish in the hope of satisfying the channel. I had voiced this once - that for the sake of trps creativity is put on the back burner but of course I have no business sense!

Magnolia,
The show abt. The tiger, I remember watching it ...the problem is,as long as there is an audience who enjoy watching such crap, shows like this flourish & channels make money. So there is absolutely no room for creativity & a sane story.
About 2nd marriages & other stuff, I'm afraid they are trying to copy western soaps to some extent.
Again it's sad there is an audience for such s...

even hollywood makes films on imaginary stuff and supernatural things and they become the biggest hit...so why blame colors...
audience like to watch whichever is entertaining them more and they sell whichever product is selling best... they can't keep showing the documentaries and biopics for the sake of showing good content...and the viewership of these sitcoms are mainly female so they are showing the female oriented shows, be it child marriage issue or mahaan bahus serving their sasurals or a gild child born as intersex...though they show many regressive tracks (actually the reality is much worse) the end will always be in favor of what concept the show started with ...ikrs was an exception ...i don't blame the channel for pressurizing for trps that resulted in ikrs downfall, the show though had a good concept and perfect casting failed to execute the story they had on paper ,the channel fairly promoted it for first 3 months but they kept showing the boring stuff n never utilized that period so the pressure came on them...still the main(or the only) reason for ikrs failure was poor script writing only...if audience wanted to see only regressive content and multiple marriages ikrs would easily top the trp chart...but it didn't...
at the end for the success of a particular show it all comes down to how well the show is executed episode by episode be it a supernatural or a saas bahu one or a love story or a concept based one rather than the subject of the show...

Agree with all the points and would like to add one more thing, that went against oUr show more than the sloppy execution that the Briliant casts made up for it to an extent is the time slot. Ikrs should have aired on a prime time slot. It's unfair the channel never gave it a try. It might have workedin the favor of our show esp after seeing some regressive shows getting trp in the prime time slots. Time slot a big factor for ikrs.
