This OS is based loosely on the Prashant revelation. Enjoy.

PV OS - A firm foundation

Aarti sat up in bed. She couldn't believe that her life, her marriage had deteriorated to this level. This is the 1st day of the year and it seemed like she was once again at the end of a marriage. She didn't see any way back from where they were now.

She had been so hopeful when they left the temple at Lalitpur. He had changed. For the first time, after he stopped for the tea, he had referred to himself as her husband. He was no longer that angry Yash. There was a calmer demeanour about him. He smiled more. And his smile was so beautiful. And it was for her. It made her heart skip a beat.

He took such great care of her. His concern was not only for the baby, it was for her too. He even stood by her when she chose to go through with the pregnancy, and not because the baby was more important to him than her, but because he wanted her to be happy.

She remembered when they sat at the doctor's office. He made sure that the doctor understood that nothing should happen to his wife. He took that call and as her gaze lingered on him, he looked back at her in question. She just smiled back. She was shocked at first and then happy. Hopeful. And the hospital trip ended up with him making the dish she craved for that very moment. He even took over from the street vendor to make sure that the food was hygienic. He looked too cute, with his paper hat and she had to laugh as his juggling skills failed miserably. And the food was delicious. He even made food for the other pregnant lady that came to ask him. That was the most awesome day.

He took care of her so well that he condition was completely healed.

He even started to do romantic things for her. Taking her out on a date and making sure that she had all her favourite things. She should have known then. She had never told him all those things. And some of those things only Prashant knew. But she chose to ignore her inner voice.

So much happened since then. Everything leading her to believe that he loved her. Especially after he put their pictures on the wall, she was convinced.

But ever since the night of her parent's anniversary he had changed. She went to the hotel and Prashant was there. She told him exactly what she thought of him. She told him to stay away from her. That she was married to Yash and she owed her allegiance to him only. She came home that night and he was already sleeping. She was so happy to see him. To know he was her husband. She went to sit down next to him and rested here head on his chest and fell asleep.

Since that day he had acted aloof but she thought she was imaging things. Till that day that Prashant gave her a love confession on the napkin. She was livid but Prateek soon explained it was from Yash. But she ran off, as the whole scene with her ex-husband giving her a love confession from her current husband was just too bizarre.

But in the solitude of her room she gave in to her feeling of happiness. He loved her. Finally he acknowledged in front of every one. He loved her!!!

Then he followed her to the room. What he said broker her heart, and it didn't make sense. The words that came out of his mouth to her and the words that he spoke to their unborn child on his knees were totally contradictory. But she chose not focus on the negative. She chose to focus on the events that made her believe in his love for her.

The penny dropped when her mother asked about that night. And she left the hospital immediately to set things straight. But the whole family was there. Everyone was so happy that she had received a clean bill of health. But he put that bangle on her arms, squeezing it tightly, intentionally hurting her. She didn't have an opportunity to talk to him.

Finally at the New Year's Eve party she forced him to listen to her. But he didn't understand why she felt the need to do what she did. He felt completely betrayed. For Yash there was only black and white, truth or lie. There was no in between. She had lied to him. She didn't trust him enough to tell the truth. For him there was no love without trust. So there could be no love between them as she didn't trust him. To him the marriage was a failure.

She begged him to stop drinking. But he wouldn't. She eventually left him and went back to the room. She had tears in her eyes. She remembered the night that she made the pillow wall and he came out of the bathroom and asked her what she was doing. He asked her if she trusted him, and she did. Even now she giggled through her tears thinking of his reaction when she told him that she wanted him to sing her a lullaby. That night she slept so peacefully, holding his hand. And he said there would be no more pillow walls.

And now she putting one up again. She guessed that it would be what he wanted again now. She was busy with the pillows when she sensed rather than heard him enter the room.

She looked at him. He was drunk. But this time he wasn't the drunk that gave in to his desire and passion for her in Mumbai. He wasn't the cute drunk that scold her about her obsession for pillows, towels and curtains. When she knew all he wanted to say were those three words. That night, even in his drunken state, he couldn't say it, but her heart felt it. That was enough for her. And now she would probably never hear it.

Now he looked angry. She sat on the bed staring at him. He walked towards her. The look in his eyes scaring her. He came straight to her.

"I told yoy no more pillow walls. You are my wife. My legally wedded wife. Only I have rights on you. Not him. You are carrying my child. I respected you, I l... You didn't even remember the night our son was conceived. But tonight you will remember. You will never forget me again. The only thing that you will forget is him."

He pushed her down on the bed.

"Yash, please not like this."

"It will be exactly like I want it to be."
He started kissing her punishingly. Removing her sarree. When he couldn't succeed, he forcefully pulled at it, tearing the fabric. His actions had nothing to do with love. His actions were angry and punishing. She considered her position. She could fight him or she could let him vent his anger on her. She could not remember their first time as he said. She loved him. This would probably be the last time that she could have him like this. She would make the most of it. She responded to him in love. She kissed him and touched the way she had been wanting to for so long. She pushed him back and started to kiss him all over. Till she reached his hard erection. She was happy to just to give him pleasure. And by his passionate moans she was assured that he was experiencing as much pleasure as she was giving it to him. Her reaction to him seemed to spark a response in him. He lifted her and placed her beneath him. When he finally entered her, she was ready and though their lovemaking was wild, the anger and punishment that he had initially wanted to impart on her had dissipated and they only wanted each other's pleasure. That objective was reached and finally they convulsed in mutual bliss. It happened again throughout the night. She was again feeling hopeful.

But now he was gone. She didn't know what to expect when he got back. Will she still have a home and a family? Will he tell his parents? How would they re-act? But as much as she wanted to hide and never leave her room to hide away from the consequences of her actions, she couldn't. She had to get up and see to her children.

She was talking to the kids. She was explaining to Palak and Ansh about the consequences of ones actions and about forgiveness when Ansh knocked over the water onto Palak's painting with his car. And she looked up to find him standing there. And she resolved to tell the family the truth. She left the room and he followed. But she was too late. As soon as she tried to confess to her family, Prashant and his aunty arrived. They exposed her to the family before she had the chance to confess. Her father in law was livid. He accused her of things she would never do and he threatened to take the baby away from her. She was surprised that her m-i-l was on her side. But she could understand and she resolved to do as was expected of her. She would leave the house.

But before she could leave to everyone's shock mostly hers, Yash stood up for her. He asked his father to let her stay. He apologised on her behalf and he tried to remind them of everything that she did for this family. But his father would not be moved. Even when her parents came, he still would not listen to their explanation. He wanted her gone and gone for good.

But Yash surprised everyone by choosing to stand by her and to leave his home and family for her.

She went to see to the kids and came back to the room where he was packing. Still in a daze about the events of the last hour.

"Why Yash? Why are you leaving your family for me.?"

"Because you are my wife and I have to stand by you. You have done the same for me and this family so many times. Besides you are having my baby. I can't just abandon you now. We need to stick together right now, we need to support each other in this difficult time, especially for the children."

"I have been on my own before Yash. I can do this. I don't want you to lose your family because of me."

"Aarti, don't you get it? You are my family. You, Ansh, Payal, Palak and our baby are my family. You come first. I won't abandon you. Not now, not ever."

"But why ..."

"Aarti, I wanted to tell you this so many times. I planned to tell you that night of your parent's anniversary and so many times before that. But I just couldn't. Words don't come easy to me. Once I gave Arpita all I had to give and when she wasn't there anymore, I thought I had nothing left. But you brought me back to life. You made my heart start to beat again. Even when I tried to fight my feelings, you were always there slowly creeping deeper and deeper into my heart."

"Yash ..."

"I ... I love you honey. I love you so much."

The tears flowed down her cheeks as they embraced.

"Aarti, I am sorry about last night." he said as his head was buried into her neck.

"Shh, there is nothing to apologise for. I wish for many more nights like that. I love you more than life itself."

"Thank you baby. For always being there for me. For forgiving me all my many mistakes. For always supporting me in everything. For putting up with my abysmal behaviour. I will try everything in my power to make up for it all. From here on it is us against the world. I love you."

"Oh Yash, you have made me so happy. You gave me new hope, new life. I know now that no matter what, as long as we are together we can face everything. I love you." They embraced each and kissed passionately

Their happiness was complete and they would walk into their new challenges hand in hand, and they could face it without fear because they would face it together, forever. They had love, the best and only firm foundation to build their marriage on. With that knowledge they would forge ahead and shape their future.

OH my so beautiful B ⭐️I love it 👏 Yash explained himself why he could not express his love, then they confessed ❤️
Both AarYa feelings expressed so simply, his jealousy he showed by making love to her, drunk but still in his senses to know exactly what he want and was doing.
a superb version on a sad scenes/ episodes of pv⭐️

oh my 🤢 🤢 🤢 🤢 need I really say more? I love how Yash chose to vent his jealousy and stake his claim at the same time! she is his, and his alone! as for the confession, it was simply beautiful! they spoke from the heart and listened from the heart! I really was dissatisfied when they did not even hug after he confessed in the show so this was so much more satisfying!
thank you for a beautiful and passionate take on those dramatic events Honey-Bee 🤗 😳

Yes, that long staring and no action, doesn't do it for me. This is why we write these stories isn't it? 😆 We loved PV but we wanted it our way. The passion on screen had to be converted from mere stares into something more. One good thing is that they left so much to the imagination that we let our imagination run wild. 😉 😆 😳
