Gopi is shocked to see herself as a bride and marrying a complete stranger. Kokila tells her that she must be surprised and that she doesn't know what has been happening over the last five years and says that she is doing this for her happiness. Gopi says her happiness went when Ahem died , she is still mourning Ahem's death and Kokila wants her to remarry.
Gopi continues with her tears. Kokila tries to console her tells that a human cannot do anything against god's will and she should accept the truth. Gopi shouts no. Monica and Paridi silently gesture and smirk. Gopi says she will not marry anyone. Kokila holds the gatbandhan and orders her to stop. Gopi pleads to let her go. Kokila shouts and says that all the rituals bar one are complete. She cannot leave the mandap.
Gopi shouts what has happened to her, she is Ahem's wife and is his widow. Kokila shouts she was widow but not now, she is Dr. Krishna's wife. Gopi asks repeatedly what has happened to her. Kokila continues shouting in her loudest pitch that nobody cares about her, so she has to marry.
Jigar says he tried to stop Kokila many times not to do this and Paridi also speaks up. Kokila shouts at them.
Kokila shouts that she is breaking the saas bahu relation and sits on the mandap and loudly rescinds the vows that Ahem and Gopi made. Gopi is helpless.
