Well put, Indrani! The situation called for more sensitivity, which she doesn't possess. Her intentions were honourable, but you do know what they say about the road to hell...😆

Is there ever a way to deal with such sensitive issue?

Tact will never help with such manipulation. I think ramnath ttuly went to the dark side today... with kamineey by his side.

What if Shravan had proposed today and Sumo has not revealed about Nirmala to him. Would that be right? Or would staying away from n for Shravan sake be right?

Yeah I feel so sorry for Shravan. He is always placed in such difficult situations. And outside he did say, he hates her, but he really doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't have recalled sumo helping him when he broke down upon hearing the news of his devta father's plane crash. Smh. Anyhow, yeah, Namik's acting literally makes me tear up every single time. Like every time. The way he was wiping his tears today and talking to his father was so heartbreaking and cute at the same time.
And like others have said, this track will take at least 2 more weeks to end. Sumo still has to get that cheque notice and then she will start hating him. I think then he will realize. So that will be all of next week and the following week.

Of course he needs to be told the truth. The confrontation was anyway going to be explosive.

But the situation called for more tact. For instance, not telling Ramnath in the morning that you want to reunite his son and Nirmala. And preparing Shravan mentally for the meeting before springing it on him. Stuff like that.

Zyada mai zyada 2-3 weeks..
It hurts to see Shravan in so much pain literally being treated like a trophy!
Banda hai yaar, insaan jaise treat karo!
Ramu is falling so low, redemption will be so very difficult for the guy..
The day Shravan sees the light, I feel woh chala jayega.. his father's betrayal will weigh heavy alongside all the stuff he's told his mum and Sumo, bechara... what he'll go through

This is one of those tracks that has a lot of depth. This won't end anytime soon. It also caters to all sets of audiance. So there is the po4 of romance drama and angst.

But this time i seriously do not want Sumo run behind Shravan.

What was nanu saying in the precap. Missed it.

Di you think Shravan would ever agree? Also Sumo was right in asking ram. He as a parent saw how badly damaged Shravan was... Would any good friend not do the same thing? She seriously thought R might be responsible parent.

I think the story is going good ..the execution is also a major point nd of course Namik is the king of expressions ...He knows how to give a serious look with angry expression...Nikita is also a show Steeler..overall...According to story they r going very nice...

Of course, Sumo didn't know about Ramnath's manipulator ways. But even then-she could've led with Nanu, for example. I still think she's too immature to understand the implications of such a thrashing out. She is just too young to understand the dynamics of a broken family. And she is an outsider. At the end of the day, the situation concerns a family- she certainly needed to be better prepared before intervening. It's like she went in there with her eyes covered with a blindfold.

Poppins I agree.. that there are never any basic framework to deal with sensitive issues like this was shown. A broken family, a father trying his best to cover up his lies with more stories, a mother already far away from the situation to understand the fragile dynamics of the father-son duo. But, Sumo was slightly aware of all this. She could have refrained from telling him blatantly that his father is liar.
The father whom the son adores, respects and considers his greatest anchor. And the same son whom she loves. Plus, she herself has lost her parents.. remember the time, when everyone within her family were blaming her mother during the Khosla fiasco. Why was she so upset ? Because it was about her mother..
Here, a mother who for all purposes has cut all ties with not only her husband but also with her only son for ten years. And that too she had to be coaxed to meet her son. By whom ... by Sumo..
Yet, in doing all this she forgot that at the other end of the spectrum is a child's love and trust for his father
Didnt it require more maturity?
