When I first watched the episode, I'm not gonna lie, i was quite pissed. I was expecting amazing full episode of him realizing his love for Sona. But it was a span of about four minutes. But I watched it again and realized how perfect it was. Dev is a simple person, with a childlike innocence in him, and so is Sona. This show is about two simple, real people who fall in love. I remember I felt pretty much like this when Sona fell it love,
that's it? But it's meant to be simple, because in real life people don't imagine a dance sequence in the rain or something extravagant as they realized they have fallen in love. It's a short and simple realization that you've fallen in love and I love how it was in the show. Yes, maybe it could've been a few 2 or three minutes more detailed, but it was still beautiful. How Neha, and Nikki's voice faided out and all he could hear was her payals. He saw the swaying of her lehenga, then her hands, then her smiling face. There was this beautiful guitar based version of the song playing in the background as they showed Sona grinning up at Dev. It defined them in one word, simple.
And anyways, I think the episode they will spend many more minutes in the episode when they confess their love for each other, which I don't think is far away now!! That moment will be the ultimate scene of the show.
Btw, did anyone notice how he had an orange pocket square? Adorable.
Can't wait to see Dev's struggle with this new found feeling. Call me weird or whatever, but I think he needs to go through some trouble and adversities before being united with Sona. After all, Sona has had to suffer quite a bit.
Keep up the amazing amazing work CVs!!!! đ
