Hey guys,
How are all of you doing after watching yesterday's episode? Finally, my sanity is back! My mind was completely numb (good numbness). No exaggeration, but I was completely at loss of words or any reaction after watching an amazing episode filled with emotions running all haywire. Erica & Shaheer are really lucky to have gotten a chance to breathe as Sona & Dev. Today, I thank the makers for giving us a beautiful, real, feel good story. And thank you for introducing every single emotion in a nice step by step manner such that, at the very end we get to see a beautiful horizon.
Sona, how very beautiful you looked with all those tears streaming down your face. She didn't have the courage to see Dev, because if at all anything happened, somehow or the other, it coincidentally brought her close to him & she was sure that if something happened she would definitely break down in front of him. Till the time the engagement was over she wanted to stay away, as far as possible from Dev. She was emotionally weak & with whatever energy left, she called Ishwari & said she was unwell & wanted to take off for two days. She had the courage to pass on her best wishes for Mr. Dixit. Our brave Sona. You make us feel proud.👏
That disturbed look on Dev's face when Ishwari told him that nutrition was not well & she won't be coming for two days, stirred him up. You can sense his mind ticking. Wondering what could've possibly happened to Ms. Bose, when she was perfectly fine yesterday. Well he would've had to figure it out.
What I love about Sona's character is her practicality & simplicity. She feels that she doesn't deserve Dev because she isn't equal to his stature & Ishwari would never choose a simple girl like her for Dev. Dear Sona, fyi, you don't need any reason to fall in love, it just happens! And Dev is getting there :) She knows that the engagement is going to happen & there is nothing more to dream & hope for. So for her own benefit she has to move on. She tries to distract herself by gardening, when Mr. Aubhodro makes a visit to check on her. Really Dev?? Haven't you figured it out yet? Oh, how I missed Sona calling him Aubhodro. With those big eyes, she was wondering, what he was doing at her doorstep & our Mr. Dixit tells her that he came to check up on her & he casually lifts his hand to touch her forehead to check if she's running a fever. Aww this guy gives me the feels... ❤️ In spite of their respective inner turmoil's, they still love to argue with each other. That's how comfortable they are.
Dev subconsciously wants to know what Sona was doing. The mud conversation was super adorable. Sona takes him to the garden & tells that she was just doing some gardening. Love how the CVs brought out the similarities between a plant & a person. They both need lots of tenderness, love and care & the right amount of it. Too less of it & too much of it will not help. Sometimes they need to be touched as well, as they have feelings too. Oh Dev, at least now I hope you understand why you wanted to touch her forehead & check if she's got fever. We also saw a childlike behaviour, when Dev ran to get the watering can to water the plant. Through Sona he's re-living/living his childhood. Dev doesn't realize that he's begun to do a lot of things which he hadn't done in a long time or maybe something he's never done before.
Then comes my most favourite scene ❤️, where Dev looks at Sona in a very different way for the very first time. That look conveyed a lot of emotions. He was admiring Sona's beauty. There was pleasure written on his face, when he saw how the water splashed across her face. He was awe-struck that something so simple could take his breath away. And boom he was out of this trance when she turned around. Boy, he was shy! Oh man, this guy is driving me crazy 🤪
Dev, who is on a quest to discover love, asks Sona about her love story. Sona is embarrassed & tells him to stop taunting her about it. Dev in a mischievous tone questioned her if she would throw mud on him. Sona smiles & says that she can throw mud but didn't want to ruin his expensive clothes. He then, in a husky tone said, "Seriously SONAKSHI" (faints). Sona stood rooted to the ground, shocked on hearing him say her name. It sounded like music to her. She was longing to listen to Dev call out her name. And he immediately corrected himself saying "Ms.Bose" (not for long Mr. Dixit) :) Gonna back track to the Holi episode, where both of them didn't think twice before they threw colors at each other. Felt as if Dev was teasing her in relation to that incident. 😉 Their story began with an array of colors! Coming back to the episode. Dev, seriously wanted to know, how it felt when someone was in love. This brought Sona back to reality & tells him to concentrate on Natasha. Everyone finds Natasha perfect for him. Sona, deep down is still holding on to something & wants to know what he's feeling about Natasha. Dev says that Natasha is not just perfect for him, but she would be a perfect fit for anybody. When Sona was with Neel, he felt so uneasy & here he tells Sona that Natasha would be perfect for anyone.😕😕 Mr. Dixit, when you're in love you can't see the person you love with anyone else. Dev was way too much of a Sherlock today! And he still isn't able to figure it out. 😲
All that time, when Dev was at Sona's place, Natasha & her father were waiting for Dev as they'd a meeting together. Dev from the moment he stepped into Sona's house lost track of himself & time. He gets a call from Natasha when he realizes that he'd completely forgotten about the meeting. He isn't able to believe that he could forget something so important. Sona at that time, found mud stains on his suit & said he needs to look presentable for the meeting & would clean it for him. Loving the authority she has over him. Can't get enough of these Devakshilicious scenes.
I loved how she took time to touch his blazer. That tenderness & care that she felt for him was so evident. She wanted to love him so much but it was not right. Their conversation about traveling was beautiful. I can't stop going on & on about their comfort factor. They leave behind all their respective baggages & try to spend time with each other talking just like any other couple. Dev was taken aback when she said she was jealous of Natasha because she had traveled a lot. She isn't just any other girl Mr. Dixit, who falls for jewelry & clothes. After he left, she said she was jealous of Natasha because she has him.❤️😭 Awww...Sona, we feel what you're going through..
At the office, when Natasha asked him, where he'd been for so long. He said his friend was unwell & he'd to go to meet that friend. Friend??😲😕 He pondered on why he lied to Natasha, why couldn't he tell her that he was with Ms.Bose. Oh Dev, I don't know what more to say, cupid has left enough number of clues to figure out what's happening to you.
The Precap was mind blowing. Finally, the day has come for what we've been waiting for so long. Dev is going to get the biggest blow of his life today. One second we're gonna see him elated with this new found feeling/realization & at the same time he'll be confused on what he's supposed to do about it.
Today is the D-day & the makers are gonna surprise us again. They are gonna leave us teary-eyed, mind blown & what not! Hold onto to your seat belts!! It's gonna get crazy!
Sorry, for the really really long rant.
P.S: Sona's travelling dialogue kinda reminded me of the BCL match. Are they going to San Francisco? Would be awesome if they get to shoot something over there 😉
