Guys i loved the whole scene when Sona deperately tried to remove that ring. The hurt, the pain was completely visible on her face and Dev got so damn concerned for her. When mami said she will apply the lotion on Sona's finger Dev didn't let her do that and did it by himself. According to me it was a future indication that Dev will always protect Sona against his evil maami. He'll never let her hurt or insult Sona.
When Sona went to the kitchen, all he was worried was for her. He was only concerned about her. He didn't pay any attention to that ring and went straight to the kitchen to make sure Sona is not in pain and when Sona couldn't control her emotions and told him.
