It's an online dating app that runs through your phone. I don't personally have a Tinder account, but I believe it's similar to Dil Mil (Dil Mil is based off of this concept). You have four pictures of the person to look at, and five seconds to swipe right (like them) or swipe left (dislike them). You also might see a bio about them (if it's filled out). It's not as serious as match.com and made more for people who want to just dating/ meet people in their area with no serious commitment expectations. It's turned into a hookup type of scene, but an app that makes you judge solely on looks will turn into that kind of experience.

I use Dil Mil because I was in dating rut, and this keeps me out of it. I'm definitely not looking for a hookup, but I also definitely do not want to get married anytime soon.

I'm actually on DM to legitly find a guy that's marriage material. 😆 I'm getting older by the day and my parents are on my case. Plus I'm ready... But just need to find my mr perfect.

Have you found anyone interesting on there? From my experience, I don't think I'll find the love of my life on this app! 😆 I have had cousins that have used other desi dating website and found good matches though.

The problem I've found with the guys on this app:

1) I know too many of them personally. 😆

2) I've talked to quite a few guys. But the problem is they will all talk at first and keep a conversation going for a few days. And then they just disappear into thin air.

3) If a guy gives your profile a 'dil' and they find out that you also gave their profile a 'dil', they'll just unmatch you...What the heck dude? Why? 😕 Never understood that.

1) I know too many of them personally. 😆 I too have ran into this issue, and so have my friends. 😆

2) I've talked to quite a few guys. But the problem is they will all talk at first and keep a conversation going for a few days. And then they just disappear into thin air. Yes, I've ran into this issue too, or they'll randomly unmatch for no reason. The conversation will be going well, and they'll end up unmatching. 😕

4). The location feature is really terrible.
