Housefull 3 has done very well in Gulf easily becoming the highest Akshay Kumar opener in the market beating Airlift which had benefit of being a Gulf based film. Fan remains top opener but that is a Shahrukh Khan film which changes all equations Overseas even if conntent not upto the mark. The top opening weekend grossers in Gulf are as follows.
1. Fan - $2.35 million
2. Housefull 2 - $1.4 million
3. Airlift - $1.2 million
4. Kapoor & Sons - $850,000
5. Ki & Ka - $700,000
Gulf and Pakistan are by far the best Overseas markets for the film. the under performance has come in the West where collections in US / Canada and UK are less than the last film in the franchise.
