one thing that I didn't understand was why Nikita said that Sumo hadn't thought that Shravan would be so adversely affected to see his mom camping out at Tiwari qilla... He has been quite candid, in fact very rudely so, about his boundaries on the Mommy Matter... He even went as far as to say to Sumo that her interference in this matter would end their friendship...

So what Sumo did, she did with the complete knowledge of potential consequences.

I understand (thanks to Indrani, Red, Sanfan, and J's analysis 😉) that Sumo is focused on mending the ma-beta relationship, and that's the way she is. She believes it's for Shravan's happiness, and she will do it no matter how strongly he asks her not to. But IMHO, Sumo can't really use the "I didn't know it would be this bad" excuse...

Anu.. Sumo's mind works quite simplistically. Thats how she has managed to deal with her parental loss. I will not see they are dead, so their loss shall not be felt. Remember, the other girl in that movie Imran Khan's first movie. She used to reason it differently.. but the fact remains. Same is case with Sumo. Her mind fails to register what is obvious to most of us
