The next day, Trisha was looking for him in the office but she was told that Raghav had called up Rajbir and informed that he won't be coming to the office for next few days. She got worried for him, whether he was alright or not? She wanted to talk to him but his phone was switched off. The way he left from office, she was sure that he must be going through an emotional turmoil, she knew how much he cared for her. There must be some definite reason for his behaviour and she wanted to find it out but how, she thought. She was busy in her work but her heart was with him all the time. Raghav was at his home and thinking about her. The way she expressed her love for him and the way he left her alone, he was cursing himself for doing this to her. He won't be able to forgive himself ever in his life for this. She had always helped him in his times of need but today, when she needed him the most, he left her with her tears and sorrows. What she would think about him, he had betrayed her trust in him today, he thought.

But on the other side, he knew that he did this only for her own sake. He won't be able to bear her loss, he had no trust on his destiny who had always played with him since childhood. So he had to take this harsh step for her safety. But why was it that when he had taken this decision after a lot of thought, he was feeling so guilty in front of her? Why he didn't have the guts to face her and he took leave from office today without even talking to her, he became really confused as he was going through a struggle between his heart and mind. He decided to go and meet Dr. Kamath. He was the only one who could understand his emotional state and help him out with this as there were only two people in this world who understood him so well.

He went to his clinic and met him. He told him in details all about Trisha and what he felt for her. The circumstances in which they got married and whatever happened after that. Dr Kamath listened to him patiently and realised that he was going through a tough time emotionally and he needed someone who could help him decide on this matter. That's why he had himself come to him, otherwise he always used to cancel or avoid his appointments. After hearing everything, he thought for a while and said.

Dr Kamath: "tumne yeh theek nahi kiya Raghav, uske saath or us se pehle apne saath. Tumhi ne kaha ki usne tumhari humesha help ki hai, ek friend se zyada hai wo tumhare liye aur jab bhi wo tumhare saath hoti hai, tum apne past ko aur khud ko bhi bilkul bhool jate ho. That clearly shows that you are madly in love with her. Whatever you told me about her, I can easily make out that she knows you more than you know yourself. If she can make you forget your past in her presence, then definitely she has the ability to bring you out of your memories and I'm sure she will help you in your mission also. After all she herself too is a trained cbi officer. Then why this fear Raghav... you need to overcome your fear and move on...this is the right time my child... She is the one for you... She is the gift of God in your life. Destiny is always not so cruel to anyone. Everyone gets his or her share of happiness and sorrows in life. You have lived all your share of sorrows, now its time for happiness in your life. The most important fact is that she is married to you, in whatever circumstances that happened... You can't deny the truth... right. She deserves you Raghav, your love and togetherness. You have really done something I never expected from you. If God forbid, she does something which she should not, then what... she is absolutely alone in this world now and you also have disowned her. Just imagine her mental state, you can't even imagine how traumatic this is going to be for her? How will she cope up with this, I don't know. If something happens to her now, will you be able to forgive yourself ever for this."

Raghav: "no she can't do anything wrong, she is very strong mentally. She can't leave me alone like this... She is..."

Dr Kamath: "now see, you yourself said that she is mentally very strong so why are you becoming so weak my dear. I said that just to make you realise that she is your strength, please don't make her your weakness. Accept her wholeheartedly and tell her whatever you have in your heart for her till now. I'm sure she'll forgive you and your life is going to change for good. Go ...just go and talk to her, tell her that you love her and bring her into your life asap."

Raghav: "thanks doctor. Thank you so much. I would take your leave now, I need to talk to her immediately."

He left his clinic and called Trisha but her phone was switched off. He called Bikram to ask him about her and he told that she had gone out of Delhi with Dilip sir for some official work and they would be back by tomorrow evening. They have asked no one to disturb them these two days and their phones will remain switched off. He was very sad that he'll have to wait for two more days to talk to her. These two days would be the longest two days for him, he knew. But he was very happy today, he was finally able to come out of his confusion and he thanked Dr Kamath for doing this. He would be having her in his life, for which he had been waiting for so long. He went to the office the next day and tried to finish this day soon so that he could talk to her tomorrow. He went to the jeweller shop in the evening and bought a lovely diamond ring for her.

On the other side, it was late evening when Trisha and Dilip Chauhan were returning back after finishing their work. Dilip sir had seen her very sad these 2 days while from outside, she was behaving absolutely normal. While returning back, he saw her sitting in the car with her eyes closed. She was lost in her own thoughts.

Dilip sir: "Trisha dinner time ho raha hai. Kahin ruk kar pehle dinner kar lete hain, what do you say?"

Trisha: "ok sir as you say..."

They stopped at a restaurant on the highway for dinner. They both sat in a comparatively secluded place as suggested by Dilip sir. He told her that he wanted to talk to her about some important issue. After ordering dinner, he started talking to her.

Dilip sir: "Trisha tumse ek baat kehna chahta hu".

Trisha: "kahiye sir..."

Dilip sir: "dekho Trisha maine humesha tumhe apni junior se kuch zyada samjha hai. Tum jaisi beti main humesha se pana chahta tha but bhagwan ne mujhe beti di hi nahi. But phir bhi maine humesha tumme apni beti ko dekha hai. Tum jitni true or innocent at heart ho, aise insaan aaj kal bahut rare milte hai. Ab tum meri beti to nahi ho, but main tumhe apni bahu banana chahta hu. Kya tum mere bete se shaadi karogi, I think ki wo tumhe wo saari khushiyan de sakta hai jo tum deserve karti ho."

Trisha was shocked to hear this, she never expected this from Dilip sir. She could not speak anything especially after whatever was going on between her and Raghav. Dilip sir saw her surprised face and realised that she had something in her heart.

Dilip sir: "kya baat hai Trisha, dekho agar tum sochne ke liye kuch waqt chahti ho to le lo. I'll wait for your decision."

Trisha: "sir wo main..."

Dilip sir: "wo main kya Trisha... Yahi na, ki tum kisi aur se pyar karti ho... If I'm not wrong, wo aur koi nahi Raghav hai...you love Raghav...isn't it?"

Trisha was shocked to hear this. How did he come to know about her feelings for Raghav (He was out of station for his nephew's marriage when that mishap happened and had come back only after she joined back). She realised that there is no point in hiding the truth now from him.

Trisha: "sir main aapko ye batana chahti hoon ki meri aur Raghav ki shaadi ho chuki hai."

Dilip sir was shocked to hear this. Trisha told him everything about her marriage with Raghav and the circumstances in which that happened and whatever happened after that between the two. She also told him that she really loved Raghav and could not think about anyone else. Dilip sir was relieved to see that she had openly expressed her feelings for Raghav today.

Dilip sir: "don't worry Trisha, maine tumse shaadi ke baare me sirf isliye kaha tha jisse tum apne dil ki baat mujhse keh sako. Jab se main wapas aaya hu, maine tum dono ko bahut closely observe kiya, mujhe shak to tha ki tum dono ke beech me definitely kuch theek nahi chal raha hai and I wanted to know what was it? That's why I started like this. If you want I can talk to Raghav about you."

Trisha: "no sir, please I don't want this. Agar wo aapke baat karne ke baad mere paas aa bhi gaya, that would again be due to his sense of responsibility for me and his guilt that he married me and then left me alone. I always loved him and want that he should feel the same for me. I want him to accept me as his love and not just a burden. I'm sure wo din jaldi aayega, I know him very well."

Dilip sir: "aur agar nahi aaya to..."

Trisha: "nahi aaya to jaise chal raha hai waise hi chalta rahega" she had tears in her eyes.

Dilip sir: "you are truly a brave girl Trisha, I feel like saluting you. I wish and pray to god that your problems come to an end soon and you both get the happiness you deserve in life. But remember one thing, don't think yourself to be alone in this world ever. From right now onwards, you are like my daughter and I'm always there for you. Jab bhi tum dono poore riti riwaaz ke saath shaadi karoge, tumhara kanyadan main karunga... Ok."

Trisha was very happy to hear these words. She had tears flowing from her eyes and she affectionately hugged him. She felt as if she got her father back today.

At his home, he was passing his time in the night and sleep was far away from his eyes tonight. He was watching the movie Dil Chahta Hai on tv. When he saw that scene in which Preity Zinta asked Aamir Khan to close his eyes and see who is the person for whom he was ready to die a thousand times just to meet her once. He got so engrossed in that scene and recalled that till now, he had been afraid of closing his eyes as whenever he did that, he always saw his dad's murder and the joker's mask. He had started having sleep related issues also because of his fear. But today, he again wanted to try it out somehow. He closed his eyes and went into his thoughts... to his surprise and much relief, he didn't see his most horrifying experience of his life, instead he saw his life... Trisha in front of his eyes smiling to him as ever. He suddenly opened his eyes and realised that Dr Kamath was absolutely right in whatever he had said. He understood him so well. He was very happy tonight and he soon went off to sleep thinking about her.

Next morning he came to office on time. Everyone was very happy to see him beaming with happiness today. He asked about Trisha but they told her that she was busy with Dilip sir in his office.

Rajbir: "kya baat hai Raghav, aaj bahut khush lag rahe ho"?

Raghav: "aaj main Trisha se apne dil ki baat kehne wala hoon."

Everyone was very happy to hear this and congratulated him on his decision. He got a call from chief saying that he had to go out and meet a senior diplomat regarding a recent case which had come up to cbi. He had to go alone as the others were busy in their respective work. Actually Trisha had asked Dilip sir to try and prevent her from meeting him today, she had asked for a half day leave due to some important personal work. He had agreed to that and decided to send him out of office. He came back in the afternoon and saw others busy in their work. Two boxes of pizza and cold drinks were kept on the table, the others were already through with their lunch, he supposed.

Raghav:" kya baat hai, aaj lunch me pizza, anything special?"

Bikram: "nahi nothing special. Swati ki sister ko school me debate competition me first prize mila, so she gave all of us this treat."

Raghav: "but how come two boxes are left? I suppose only I'm the one left now or is it that someone else is also left for lunch?"

Rajbir: "nahi bus tum hi rehte ho. Yeh Trisha ka pizza hai. She didn't have it."

Raghav: "why, use to pizza bahut pasand hai."

Rajbir: "don't know Raghav, sometimes her behaviour is so weird. We all know she likes this, that's why we ordered this. But she said she doesn't feel like having anything. She even refused to have cold drink. Raghav waise ek baat kahu, tum usse apne dil ki baat kehne se pehle dus baar soch lo..."he said teasingly to Raghav.

Raghav: "Rajbir tum na ... aaj tum bachoge nahi" and he came close to him and grabbed his neck lightly.

Rajbir gave in very easily and told him that he was just joking to make him feel better as he knew how desperately he was searching for a chance to talk to her today. But Raghav was himself surprised to know that she didn't have anything on a treat today, usually even if she doesn't like something, she makes it a point to have atleast some bits. She was always very caring for her team's sentiments.

Raghav: "surprising...aaj usne kuch liya kyun nahi? Waise hai kahan wo?"

Bikram: "she has gone home on a half day leave, she had some important personal work."

Raghav was so disappointed that again he could not talk to her. He had his pizza and then got on with his work. All of them were working together in the conference room in the evening and news channel was switched on as usual. Suddenly his eyes went on to the news being flashed on tv and he suddenly exclaimed.

Raghav: "aaj karva chauth hai?"

Swati: "haan aaj karva chauth hai, kyun??"

Everyone was quiet for few seconds, looked at each other and together all of them said at once... "Oh God aaj karva chauth hai!!!"

Raghav and everyone realised why Trisha refused to have anything and why had she taken a half day leave. She was having her fast today... that too for Raghav... Raghav got up immediately and decided to go to her house right now. Today was the perfect day to express whatever he felt for her all these years. He would tell her everything about his love, his fears and his mental dilemma and she would definitely understand and forgive him, he thought.
