If Mughal-e-Azam was remade, who would you cast?

Some classics should never be remade.One of them is Mughal-e-azam.

I know, but just thinking hypothetically 😉

I would cast:

Rishi Kapoor as Akbar, or HR if he agrees to be an old man.

Salim, would have been a young SRK, but he is too old. So Ranveer Singh.

Confused about Anarkali though.

Only 2 people can think of remaking it,SLB and Ashutosh Govaritkar.

If SLB remakes it then he will definitely cast his current favorites Ranveer and Deepika as Salim and Anarkali. Can't say who will be cast as Akbar.May be Amitabh but he had to gain lot of weight for this role.Rishi kapoor would be a good choice though.

And if Ashutosh remakes it then he will definitely cast hrithik as Salim and Priyanka or Ash as Anarkali.

Hope RGV never gets this idea.
