Similar Shows like EDKV?

Hello all, i recently came across EDKV and have been binge watching all the episodes on youtube. I finished all episodes in 2 weeks 😆 loving it so far!

But now i want to watch something similar - if there is any. i used to watch IPKKND back in the day and enjoyed that too, although that was way more melodramatic than EDKV haha!

Any suggestions?

Hey,

I dont watch any Indian shows except EDKV. I was addicted to Geet back in 2010-2011...However, I did watch a show of 20-odd episodes last Fall...it was called Gulmohar Grand. Unfortunately, as it happens with most realistic shows with low TRPs, it was cut short by the channel..Naanu from EDKV was the naanu of the FL in that show...it was quiet good...you can give it a try if you can find it online...other than that, I dont have any suggestions

you should watch Dosti Yaariyaan manmarzian...awesome show with uniqueness and freshness also deals with childhood buddies just like EDKV

my siggy has some of the shows scenes

nothing like the usual and def a fresh show

If you want something on the concept of best friends turning to lovers, you can check out Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai. Both of these shows have ended but they remain as some of my favourite love stories from Indian TV in recent years.

Others I would recommend is Gulaal. Probably the most layered fiction on Indian TV ever. My absolute favourite.

Ek Tha Chandar Ek Thi Sudha was brilliant as well. Just 20 episodes. Highly underrated.

EVEREST was amazing as well.

Everest is one of my all time favourite after sarabhai v/s sarabhai, to be Frank not watched any other serial for more than 100 episode as I get bored if a show is dragged. If ekdv goes this way hoping I will watch at least this one completely.
