The downside of being a patient is that you may never be sure of going to the right doctor or getting the right treatment. With the proliferation of nursing homes owned by physicians in India, patients end up staying in the hospital for days when they could have gotten better care at home!!!.Obviously the doctors want to charge room and board and fill their kitty.

I can tell you of an incident when my own father stayed in a nursing home for several days just receiving IV vitamins becoz the doctor said that it would cure his leg pain!!! It didn't!! Finally I took him to a good neurologist who diagnosed the condition correctly.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

Simi i agree with ur comment ,i think some patients must be careful in choosing the doctors ,as my parents are doctors in india ,as my mom is GYNOCOLOGIST AND DAD IS SONOLOGIST AND ENT SPECIALIST i have some knowledge of how doctors are in india and all over place.

I think some doctors are found of money and bribe and not so for others .yaah what u said was right ,some might find or just by looking at doctors they are good but when we go deep in to them and see only we might find abt them in real?

I think almost not all are bad ,only few doctors are bad .like how u said abt ur dad 's treatement's yaah it is right they seem that they can treate them by giving them treatement which even they are specialist just for money??? just some are like this not all.

I just remembered another thing which they show on TV and movies all the time which to me is quite hilarious!!

The way the doctors are shown doing CPR on the patients is totally wrong and would probably kill a living person rather than revive the dying!!! Its pathetic!!

This goes to show how much or how little research is done while making these serials!!
