Well I cant help but make another post today. Because just like the dialogue today I make Swa my sister, there was another dialogue and another situation that had bugged me. I had some thoughts on it, but was not sure. Felt like it is far fetched. But it didn't leave my mind and I was checking whether anything is in affirmative of that thought of mine. And in yes epi I got the connection. Hence the title destiny's card.
So what was the dialogue, what was that situation. Dialogue is tumne mera plan bighada, aur isne tumhara plan. Dialogue which Swa says when Adarsh prays to Goddess Durga after learning about Vanshika.
And remember what Adarsh does. Swa is trying to interview that lady about banwarilal in the disguise of a reporter. Adarsh comes and tell the goon check her id. Swa and the other fellow run. Adarsh take them in his car. Then the call about vanshika come and the dialogue.
Note another as a reporter Swa's hair was braided, but in the car she unties her hair and it remains untied throughout her conversation. You will ask is there any significance. wait.
Cut to present. Yesterday Swa was a woman who didn't know what to feel, what to say her uncle and her brother branded the terrorist. And Adarsh holds her hand and walks away. She goes away. Why. Identity. She is Swadeenta Sinha. Marriage has happened. But the girl's heart is with her mamu, with her brother and no one neither her parents, nor her sasural, or her husband want to listen to her. Or give a thought to what she says. If the complete thing is not shown today, it will be shown in coming days where her thoughts will be rubbished and she will be asked to be within limits. A woman with fire burning in her heart about the injustice meted out to her mamu and brother, but no one to listen to her view. A trapped woman.
Does this picture of a trapped woman cuts something into you. Can she be related to someone. A woman whose cries of help where not heard, and finally God comes to help her hearing her plea. And his coming turns the table, her plea for justice has to be heard.
A woman born out of fire , a woman in front of whose untied hair entire kuru clan burned. A woman with her single question liberated her husbands from life long slavery of a system and gave them a chance to fight against the system. A woman who didn't accept her husband's verdict of keeping her as a deal after he became slave telling she is not his property. A slave has no property. Atleast a king had an authority which queen had to obey. But a wife is not husband's property.
Panchali. The woman who raves and rants in the infamous hall of dice with no one to hear her plea. The elders, her family, her husbands everyone sit mute to what is happening to her because they think they are all right. But the help comes. If you keep aside the God factor, help comes from a person who is outside the family, who protects her dignity and she demands justice.
And I always call such help destiny's card. Today Adarsh took Swa and well now everyone thinks she has to be in the threshold. She might also question but feel helpless as she doesn't know what to do. But destiny has played its card. The reporter to whom she has told she doesn't think her mamu is terrorist.
She will be questioned once again publicly on her stand. That's destiny card, that's destiny's chance for Swa to break the traditions. Because she only has to speak what she firmly believes. And once she speaks that, then there is no turning back. She has to act on what she believes. She has to go. Adarsh cannot stop her. He either leave her or follow her to see why she has the belief. And Adarsh can reach Swa through Asad only.
Yes destiny has undone all the other plans with its master stroke. Only now Swa has to act when the time comes.

Interesting!
In a general context, as much as I would like to believe that God helps everyone who are in trouble, and Satyameve Jayate, in practicality, it is not completely true. There are so many truths that go unheard, there are so many voices that get subdued, there are so many Panchali's that don't find Krishna when they need them.

In this specific context of the show, I think the context is slightly different. Sinha's are a household that is led from the front by a woman. Suhasini Sinha rules this family. So, it is certainly not true that they have a problem with a woman being right, or a woman leading the way. The way the entire situation has spun makes a lot of difference. See, these are characters at the end of the day. And in the end, one will be proven right, one wrong, and everything will be dandy. But I don't think it is as black and white as that. Everything is grey, and acknowledgement of that is important.

I understand your inference and the bigger picture. But the way the entire thing is being perceived in general is that Swadheenta is being subdued against her wishes. She is a woman and her wishes are not being granted. This is certainly not true. The fact that she is not being heard has nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman, or that she is Swadheenta Sinha today. If the cop who died wasn't Abhay, not just Swadheenta but even Adarsh would be standing by the Jilani's extending his support. I truly believe that. The context is that one Sinha has died, and there is ample evidence that the Jilani's had something to do with it. It is in this context that she is being subdued. This is rational.

Swadheenta has know maamu and his family the best. Asad is her brother and will always be her brother. She knows their truth because she knows them. But the Sinha's simply don't know them as well. And they are being told that one of their own was lost because of something that the Jilani's did wrong. Adarsh may be keeping Swadheenta away because he thinks he is protecting her. When all evidence points against the Jilani's, and Swadheenta simply wants to support them based on emotional trust, who should he listen to? Evidence or her emotions? But, Swadheenta will have to believe her gut, because some things don't have obvious evidence. It is your belief in it. The journey will have to be started by her. But when she does that, and she starts uncovering a different truth, she will be supported.

I liked your reference to their "Kaali zabaan" discussion. Yes, he stopped her from pursuing what her gut told her - support Asad and maamu. So, now, he has to face defeat and obstacles too because he cut her. That will be the Allen broad angle. He will be shown a mirror towards his own family that he believes is all correct. Then , he will know that a situation can make anyone look bad, but in reality it does not have to be the entire truth. Eventually, they will both work together to uncover the truth and then justice will prevail.

@ priti it is symbolic and just connects how the story will flow. It is not outright negating any characters actions.Even MB all characters are grey and that is the greatness of that epic also. No outright black or white.
And Krishna coming for help. My experience tells he comes. Only thing we have to recognize him and understand his direction and take action. That's why I said Swa's chance is when that reporter asks. What action she will take. Action at the right time.
It is said that when Panchali calls Krishna in the infamous hall of dice she is holding to one side of her saree and calls him. Krishna at that time is playing dice with Rukmini. Rukmini says Panchali is calling go. Krishna tells not yet. And finally Panchali leaves that side of the saree and with both her hands up calls him and he comes. Absolute surrender. Help me. It is said that holding one side of the saree is our ego. Our belief I can still do it, I can still manage it. When you leave your ego and call out he comes. Many people don't know this. When you earnestly ask for help, don't try to solve things yourself. Allow the person to help you.
One more thing I want to tell. Change is slow because we don't act, but we react. If we act many brutal incidents can be avoided. But since only reaction works with us, it needs a gruesome tragedy to collectively awaken by conscious so that our reaction ends up in having some benefit.
I have put it earlier also. I work with the education sector in the CSR wing of my org. I mentor students. I can give direction. But the student has to act. Which only maybe 1 out of 10 will do. Rest are doubtful of the direction and they expect me to do the action also.
We always have to remember. God can give us favourable questions. But to pass the exam we have to write the answers to that questions. God will not write.

Agree Shruti. And the point about the characters being grey was not in reference t your post. It was about the general perception of the audience watching the show.
In a general context, it is correct. Hopefully truth will be heard this time, and justice will prevail. And hopefully principles will have a role to play in establishing the truth. 👏

@ Dumpling - Well said. Yup. Sudha helped there. Radhika will play that part here. 👏
