Well I cant help but make another post today. Because just like the dialogue today I make Swa my sister, there was another dialogue and another situation that had bugged me. I had some thoughts on it, but was not sure. Felt like it is far fetched. But it didn't leave my mind and I was checking whether anything is in affirmative of that thought of mine. And in yes epi I got the connection. Hence the title destiny's card.
So what was the dialogue, what was that situation. Dialogue is tumne mera plan bighada, aur isne tumhara plan. Dialogue which Swa says when Adarsh prays to Goddess Durga after learning about Vanshika.
And remember what Adarsh does. Swa is trying to interview that lady about banwarilal in the disguise of a reporter. Adarsh comes and tell the goon check her id. Swa and the other fellow run. Adarsh take them in his car. Then the call about vanshika come and the dialogue.
Note another as a reporter Swa's hair was braided, but in the car she unties her hair and it remains untied throughout her conversation. You will ask is there any significance. wait.
Cut to present. Yesterday Swa was a woman who didn't know what to feel, what to say her uncle and her brother branded the terrorist. And Adarsh holds her hand and walks away. She goes away. Why. Identity. She is Swadeenta Sinha. Marriage has happened. But the girl's heart is with her mamu, with her brother and no one neither her parents, nor her sasural, or her husband want to listen to her. Or give a thought to what she says. If the complete thing is not shown today, it will be shown in coming days where her thoughts will be rubbished and she will be asked to be within limits. A woman with fire burning in her heart about the injustice meted out to her mamu and brother, but no one to listen to her view. A trapped woman.
Does this picture of a trapped woman cuts something into you. Can she be related to someone. A woman whose cries of help where not heard, and finally God comes to help her hearing her plea. And his coming turns the table, her plea for justice has to be heard.
A woman born out of fire , a woman in front of whose untied hair entire kuru clan burned. A woman with her single question liberated her husbands from life long slavery of a system and gave them a chance to fight against the system. A woman who didn't accept her husband's verdict of keeping her as a deal after he became slave telling she is not his property. A slave has no property. Atleast a king had an authority which queen had to obey. But a wife is not husband's property.
Panchali. The woman who raves and rants in the infamous hall of dice with no one to hear her plea. The elders, her family, her husbands everyone sit mute to what is happening to her because they think they are all right. But the help comes. If you keep aside the God factor, help comes from a person who is outside the family, who protects her dignity and she demands justice.
And I always call such help destiny's card. Today Adarsh took Swa and well now everyone thinks she has to be in the threshold. She might also question but feel helpless as she doesn't know what to do. But destiny has played its card. The reporter to whom she has told she doesn't think her mamu is terrorist.
She will be questioned once again publicly on her stand. That's destiny card, that's destiny's chance for Swa to break the traditions. Because she only has to speak what she firmly believes. And once she speaks that, then there is no turning back. She has to act on what she believes. She has to go. Adarsh cannot stop her. He either leave her or follow her to see why she has the belief. And Adarsh can reach Swa through Asad only.
Yes destiny has undone all the other plans with its master stroke. Only now Swa has to act when the time comes.
