Swara - a perspective

I have read many posts today regarding Swara and her present avatar as Swara Bose. Some are not complimentary and with reservations on her behaviour, hence this post.

First, the disappearance of cosmic connection between SwaSan. When Swara had not yet seen Sanskaar, she felt his presence and feel of "someone close to me". When she came face to face with him, the negative flashes she was having of a man aiming a gun at her and then shooting at her turned technicolor and she recognized the man. Her brain has registered Sanskaar as the man who tried to kill her, the man who was responsible for her fall into the river.

Now when she sees him, her brain kicks into action, blocking her dil ka connection which was responsible for those cosmic feels earlier. At the moment, her brain has taken over and her brain unfortunately is like a blank slate (as she herself said) where memories are concerned. So I don't feel the absence of cosmic connection is so off the mark. As the track progresses, I am sure that cosmic connection will reappear as memories start returning to her brain.

Is Swara to be blamed for her present actions? She is back to being Swara Bose who was free and easy with people, especially friends. She considers Sahil her friend at the moment. She was the kind who did not mind a hug or being hugged, who held hands, etc. with no inhibitions. On top of it, now she is in a post-traumatic state. She is not going to be a sherni so soon, not until she understands the circumstances better. I don't blame her for freaking out when she comes face to face with Sanskaar whom she thinks her killer and clinging to Sahil, though of course the SwaSan fan in me finds it revolting!

I realize that TRP audience may not see it this way. Combining an unfeeling Swara with a Sanskaar in pain may turn disastrous for the future of the show. Sanskaar is the character almost everyone, young or old, online or TRP audience identifies with. For that sake, I hope they tone down Swara's behaviour a bit. I still shudder when I think of those Devar-Bhabhi scenes we endured and then there was no ML, so CVs may go really too far with ML compounding the situation.

What puzzles me is that once she comes to know Sanskaar is her husband, why does not someone explain to her that he did not shoot at her but at Rajat who was holding her captive? They could certainly tell her that much without too many explanations to confuse her brain. Expecting logic is a no-no, so I should not be saying this, I guess!

Great post shobs 🤗Agree with you regarding swara's pov but problem is trp aunties might not be so rational or kind ,they need to sympathize with her so it's better if the CVS tone down swara sahil scenes a bit ! And regarding someone telling her about rajat 😆Sr=logic has never been the equation !

Nice post ... As u said Swara's mind is ruling her heart right now, or Swara is thinking with her mind and therefore we see no cosmic connections...her mind is a slate and filled with so many questions and the biggest being why did this guy try to kill her...
Slowly as Swara comes to know Sanksaar her fear will reduce and mind will have less work and her guard will lower and that is when her heart will take over foe cosmic connections...
About Swara being told about Rajat...for Swara it is difficult to trust even if they tell her as her mind has shown her something else...so this part she will find out on her own and then will believe it...
I think the cv's r going well atleast now...

Dear Shobha,
I agree with you to the extent you have described Swara Bose. I have nothing against her treating Sahil as a friend (objectively thinking - my heart has an entirely different opinion about him😡) but what I find abhorring is the fact that her family members who are not suffering from any memory loss are supporting her. Friendship clinging are two different things. Unfortunately, the track does not seem to be differentiating the two. And this would not be going down well with a large chunk of the audience. And the prediction of him turning to an obsessive lover also does not bode well for the serial.

And you rightly pointed out, once she realises that Sanskaar is her husband, the fact could be placed in front of her so that she at least attempts to find a logical way out of this impasse. But then, when have the CV's ever relied on logic and common sense? They want drama and melodrama🤢

Best,
Nyna

I want them to tone down Swara's behavior only because TRPs should not drop. If that happens, the CVs will rush through the track and spoil it completely! Perhaps turning Sahil negative sooner might contain the damage, but I prefer that he tutns black over a small period of time and not overnight. You know me, Sam... We have discussed this before 😛

Oh, does she? I have been avoiding OLVs and segments, they spoil the episodes for me! Let us see how it plays out then.

If her mother tells her, won't she at least start thinking about it? She trusts her mom, right? It is okay if she does not want to be with Sanskaar, that is understandable, but at she will not freak out when she sees him!

I get your point. I mentioned the same opinion about her family in my reply to another post. For once, I am in agreement with Daadi who scolded Shomi for sending Swara with Sahil. Even Ragini asked Shomi... Her pregnancy hormones are muddling her mind!

this is a daily soap and for it to move ahead the writers have to do certain non logical stuff... which here is fine... plus this is swaragini and therefore we will be seeing Ragini telling Swara about Sanskaar but leaving the shooting part...as this will be SwaraSasnkaar's journey once again, Swara once again discovering the Sanskaar she fell in love with and slowly believing that he could not have done what she saw... this journey will be a treat to us too...
