Absolutely correct. I mentioned this somewhere in an earlier post. I think one of the main reasons why a lot of us are getting extremely emotional is because we understand that at some level, these errors happen in our society. It may not have been of this magnitude, but we have all experienced it. Poor people get accused of robbery, physically strong people get accused of violence, people who challenge someone's judgement get accused of being rebels... we see this everyday. And in most cases, these turn out to be false accusations. But how many people have the will or the power or the means to defend their honor?
I think the purpose of showing this track was to state a bigger fact and show a mirror to each one of us. When it is an Asad, we feel bad. But tomorrow, we don't think twice about accusing our own maids of thievery, we won't oppose when we see child labor, nothing. Why are they any different than Asad. I think the bigger intention of this role if to make us all realize that when people believe in their rights, they can make a difference, irrespective of who is standing on the other side of the table. Like you rightfully pointed out, the CM, Manohar, Suhasini, everyone will get caught. Tomorrow Suhasini may blame Swadheenta for going ahead and trying to save Asad's name. But in a couple of days from now, Adarsh will accuse his parents of killing his brother. That will be the mirror they will be shown, and then, they will not like what they see.
Asad, may your soul rest in peace. You were loved, and will always be loved. Abhay, as your life hangs in a balance, know that all of us are praying for you.
