what message deos the channel want to give to the viewers that women who are educated accomplished and successful in their careers should give up their job to try save a shaky marriage. if riya fails in saving her marriage then she will end up with no job no marital life.if the channel wants to give message to women in such a situation it should tell them not to leave their jobs to be financially strong and fight for their rights.i am always upset when i read about women commiting suicide because of marital problems. the women should think of how much effort their parents put in to educate them.inspite of being educated and employed they commit suicide .such women should be taught their self worth. i hope the channel tries to really show what it says in its logo nayi soch. riya is being shown to loose all the time as such many say she doesnt know to act on the other hand the actress playing chanda is given all win win situation. so tommorow people may say she is a great actress. like evil looks mor attractive than good.

really like what youve said here. Ive said the same ages and ages ago very early on when I first started posting and I got so wound up that the show was promoting such weakness in educated women, as if they have nothing else to live for but being the perfect bahu as soon as they get married. Also there really are people who watch this show and think it reflects real life, they think that its a good example of how to live and take it seriously. Its scary, ive seen it myself in family members who cant seem to think for themselves. Even the suicide thing- very true- and I bet you the statistics dont even represent why such women kill themselves and then the younger generation are doomed to repeat the same mistakes of such regressive thinking. However, i dont this channel gives a crap about this nayi soch premise given what they have been forcing us to watch! i have seen a woman who was a teacher with two duaghters commit suicide that day my mind went blank. i was going to my sisters house , i am familiar with the house and how to reach there but i went upto the top floor then i realised i am on the wrong floor . i did not even know her and i was feeling so bad. imagine what her daughters must have felt. i think the media through there channel should encourage such people to live life with courage . its not just the womans life but also the life of others related to her gets effected. i hope t.v media realises that along with giving entertainmet they have responsibility towards society. sorry if i upset anyone.
