While the crucial Sita apaharan sequence in the show Siya Ke Ram was being shot, Madirakshi Mundle who plays Sita, got injured in an accident. The shooting had to be stalled for a while as she got badly hurt.
She said, "It was an important shot for us where Karthik Jayaram who plays Ravan had to kidnap me. So, I had to run away from him and while doing so, I missed seeing the iron wired fence that was there. The fence fell on me and left me with bruises on my entire body. I could barely walk or stand up. People on the set got worried because I was badly hurt. I could not shoot till the next day morning and we had to postpone the scene."
