Aamir Khan comments on 'Black' as being very disturbing, manipulative and insensitive.

Aamir Khan

His 'Taare Zameen Par' revolves around the life of kids and the current education system in India, so we found a little surprising when Aamir Khan recently expressed his thoughts on 'Black' claiming that the movie was very insensitive.

Aamir shared that he felt the movie 'Black' to be very manipulative; the actor feels the story was about a child, who is going though a mental trauma and no parent in the real world would be ready to leave the child alone with an alcoholic for 40 days. Aamir feels that children need to be handled with care and in 'Black' Big B was shown slapping the poor girl; in fact, the actor compares the movie to that of teaching the bear to dance.

Aamir also said that he enjoys Bhansali's movies and finds him talented but, 'Devdas' and 'Black' disappointed him big time. Aamir, who is known to be a straight shooter, sure found his bulls eye in Bhansali; so after SRK it's another Khan, who is not too happy with Sanjay.

Now, this only leaves Sallu Bhai on Sanjays side for now but, on second thoughts Aamir's views on 'Black' have really got us thinking. What do you feel?

I really n never liked Aamir Khan, to me he always sounds to big headed, i have never seen any of his films in Cinema expect for Fanna, and that too for Kajol only. Black was the bset movie made ever in Bollywood, AB n Rani did the best acting of thier career.
This is just what i think (like aamir), but i really dont like him.............. Sorry to his fanz 😕

It actually has got me thinking too, honestly. I too, like many, thought that Black was the best thing to come out of Bollywood after a long time. It was our way of saying "Hollywood, here we come!"

But Hollywood had already made a film with such story line. SLB just took it to the next level by allowing the girl to grow up with the help of her teacher.

Aamir does bring in few - completely ignored - points. They are first "how can a deaf, blind, and mute narrate a story?" second "why would any parents - in their right mind - give their child in the care of an alcoholic?" and finally "teaching a child with such disability - in a ruthless manner - is justified?" Is that the only way to teach?

I feel I need to watch the movie once more to see if any of this questions can be answered.

😆 😆 😆 SLB should cheer up and be happy that Aamir made this comment. It's making people see Black again. I am going to watch it again too. I love how SLB's movies raise questions and how we all try to answer them !! Ah love his movies!!

I respect Aamir Khan's opinions. It is a different way of looking at a movie and he asks some intelligent questions.
But when he asks questions about who would leave their children with an alcoholic, it begs the question in my mind about how he has treated his children. Countless affairs. Children having to go through their parent's divorce and then to have to go through reading in the media about the affairs and the 'illegitimate' child that their Dad has had with another woman.

Aamir , all parents are faced with real life challenges, and they do the best that they can for their children.

SLB is in the media these days and he is being critisized for his movie Saawariya.

What an apt time to bring out what happened to the child in 'Black' and use it for people to think about your movie which is about children. If you had spoken about Saawariya, it would not have been that obvious that you are doing it to promote your movie, but then Saawariya never had children to its theme.

I really do respect your views and comments, but the sceptic in me begs the question that I am asking.

Only Aamir have guts to say what he feel he is not hypocrite being a intelligent actor its Aamir's right to say what is good and what is bad here timing is not good because SLB already mentally retarded because of Sanwariya than how he can digest about black any thing any how Aamir well said.
