I don't think the article is true. If dev did something like that he's only going to lose his charm. Even if Dev realizes his feelings for her he still doesn't know whether she feels for him or no. And on that the fake boyfriend. Then there is the deal also. Either it will be him or nats breaking the alliance. Him confessing his love to Sona isn't coming a very long time from now.

Not sure about the authenticity of this MM article but I think something like that will happen...

I have a feeling Elena will be the cupid.

I think Dev will go and meet her on the eve to clear his doubts but Sona will not confess anything,( as its too late now and she does not want to come in between Nats and Dev) letting Dev think she loves that Neil guy only. Dev will leave there not confessing anything.. She will probably wish him well for his forthcoming engagement and he will ask her to come as a well wisher...

But I think Elena seeing how heartbroken her Sona is will take matters into her own hand and will meet Dev and spill the beans about the whole Fake drama just minutes before the engagement , which will make Dev to call off the engagement.

There must be a reason why there was a special segment between Sona and Elena. It must be put to use somewhere and this is where Elena will step in to enlighten Dev .

Just guessing if I go with the flow of the article.

This will be totally out of character for Dev...And I really dont want to see a public proposal...Dev and Sona have had so many conversations and moments which are unknown to everybody else and Dev's confession too should be private and between them only...

Plus it would be too filmy.

Dev confessing and proposing in 'public' seems highly improbable considering the kind of character that he is. I would rather have him break off with Natasha in private and then start pursuing Sona with a new vigour. More than anything, I, as a die hard DevAkshian, want him to go in a full on angst mode, with repents, jealousy, frustration etc.

Not an easy dramatic proposal and her accepting it without any issues.
