Amrish is dyeing his hair black when Surili walks in. He jokes that he wishes to look younger than her and she tells him that she loves him all the sameđł. They both start to think about Shoguta's wedding and that they will have fulfilled their last duty as parents to make her settle down. Just then, Rajni enters and tells them to call off the wedding. Surili complains to Amrish that this is why she cannot stand her. Rajni talks about 'maa da ladla bigad gaya' and they do not understand.
Shaan is dropping off Matthew to his hotel. Matthew starts dreaming of redefining success with Shogu and tells Shaan to come with Rajni and live with them. Shaan wonders how he could do that if Matthew takes his robot away.
Rajni tells them Dev told her all this and Surili tells her to leave. Surili tells Amrish that brother and sister plan to ruin her. Amrish wonders if Rajni may be right but Surili reminds him that they had done a background check on Matthew and he is perfect for Shogu.
Dev is sleeping in kitchen and Rajni wakes him up by sparking with lighter. Shaan enters and he she tells him about Shogu's life being ruined by Matthew. When she informs him Dev has told her all this, Shaan gets angry with Dev and tells her to stop talking about it and leaves. Dev thinks once he will save Shogu's life, the Kant family will respect him more. He tells Rajni that if "seedhi ungli se ghee nahin nikalta hain, toh ungli tedi karna padta hain." Rajni tries this out and says that they should continue trying to save Shogu's life.
Next morning, Shaan and Amrish are waiting for everyone downstairs. Shaan asks why are the men taking so long as well. Amrish explains that before the wives can finish, the men are not allowed to leave! "One pin here, another pin there on the sari"đđ They joke that Amrish had to wake up at 4am to get Surili ready by now. Shaan almost tells them that he made Rajni...he pataoed her and made her their bahu. Everyone comes down and Shoguta comes twirling in her beautiful anarkali. Surili gets emotional. Shaan tells her he will miss her...and then starts laughing that he won't say that to her. The brothers continue pulling her leg and Shaan tells her he loves her. Amrish gets emotional.
Suddenly Rajni says: Shaadi hongi, toh hi jayenge!
The others get confused and Surili asks why is Dev here. Rajni replies that he is here to stop the wedding!
Precap: The registrar asks Shogu if this is her second marriage. She and Matthew are shocked and she reads that 'Shoguta Amrish Kant is married to...Devendra Bangroo!'
