What an irritating show?

The father who took care of her even after the mother is dead and is still now caring has become paraya for this pativrata nari Riya. The heartless, brainless idiots are her family. She is some santly soul out to reform when they are crying,'leave us alone'.

And the so called bold one Nimmi is asking permission to visit her supposedly ailing granny and agreeing to the insults and conditions.

How regressive these young ladies are!

I don't have any sympathy for Nimmi , actually never liked her.
If she thinks her life as bahu isn't a red carpet walk, Will she also realise what Riya as a bahu goes through in circus of madness called SS and both are sailing in same boat.

Shantiya's curse in precap was funny! She doesn't really have a conscience and also doesn't have the audacity to utter such words because all mess is her own creation

My sentiments exactly. I've said the same. I feel heartbroken for Anupam, can you imagine the hopes he had for his daughter? And that too his only child? He has taken so much care and effort to bring her up- I know that's what parents should do anyway- but in a small town like that it's no easy feat to be so forward thinking amongst backward thinking people who believe women belong in the kitchen only. He was married to a lawyer, someone of esteem. He raised his daughter in a "modern" way, encouraging her to work, to stand on her own two feet, giving her every opportunity to spread her wings and be independent, be strong. Yes he wanted her to settle down, but not at the cost of her dignity. He probably saw the same attributes of his wife in her and wanted her to feel like she could be in charge of her life. He allowed her to manage the household finances, he allowed her to ride freely through the city on her own vehicle. He trusted her to be responsible for herself. When she came after a long day at work, he didn't dump her in the kitchen to cook for him. He cooked for her, he took care of her so she could live her life and be the best she could be. It wasn't a sacrifice for him because he loves her- but what he did for her, the way he raised her in such a way that she feels comfortable to talk to her dad about her day, little things here and there, the way she feels comfortable to even scold him and just be herself- the way he has raised her is nothing short of beautiful. That's the kind of parent you put on a pedestal if you insist on putting parents on pedestals. It should be someone like that. Someone who is humble enough to not need to be put on a pedestal. So what does she do? She goes ahead and insults him infront of her entire in-law family, basically aligning herself with them. She may as well have told him to just get lost- why not Riya? You may aswell have insulted him properly. He has single handedly brought her up to be the independent woman she WAS- only for her to end up a snivelling, weak, pathetic, begging, apologising, whimpering punching bag to what is essentially a bunch of strangers. I really felt for Anupam. Riya isn't his daughter anymore. What the hell is it with women getting married and as soon as they are married they say things like "this is my family now". Errm no, this is your family ALSO. Not instead of your maternal and paternal roots, but in addition to. Sheesh! She may as well have taken him by the arm and thrown him out of SS! I'm really loathing her after this new low. And all of this after the kidnapping fiasco. Does she even realise what kind of trouble her own dad would have faced if Ashanti and Sarla had succeeded? Does she realise the utter devastation n humiliation not to mention being imprisoned, that her dad would have to face because of Shantis games? And all because shanti wants her out of SS? it would have entirely been Riyas fault if her dad ended up in jail, because this simpering idiot refuses to grow a spine and leave SS. It didn't seem to occur to her that her dad would have been major collateral damage- she was only interested in not being framed herself for the kidnapping. Doesn't she give a crap about her own dad and the pain he has to endure watching her fall deeper into that pit? I could understand if at least Shivam was with her through it all, she would have SOMETHING to fight for. But what is she fighting for here? He hates her! Shivam can't stand the sight of her. I don't feel sorry for her AT ALL when I see her crying now. Because I know after a few seconds or minutes of her tears, she will wipe them away, straighten her shoulders and say to herself "I will win their hearts, I WILL!" you moron! LOL! I don't actually think it's bothering her too much to get humiliated on an hourly basis- she's like a cockroach, nothing is weakening her determination to stay under that roof. What do we have to watch next? Her getting slapped and being sworn at? This idiot will still come back for more because SOMEHOW she will win their hearts. Ugh whatever. She'll probably ""win"" their hearts (as in get them to stop noticing her let alone shout at her) when they don't have the energy to tell her to get lost anymore and by then Shivam will be married to chanda with kids of his own and she'll still be in that stupid sari living in the wash area or something, starting to look like Gollum as she holds her wedding ring, "my preciousss Shivam, will never lets gooo" and when people come to visit and ask what she's doing in the corner, Shivam will be like "her? Yeah that's just the house imp... Can't get rid of her, don't look or she'll start saying sorry again..." * Eye roll*
THIS is what she's turning into.

@DrashtiDhami

Saying shivams character has become negative is the understatement of the century! His heart has turned so utterly ugly that I can quite easily look past the "pretty" face. That permanent scowl on his face as he blasts death rays at Riya and barks out cruel words to her is going to make his face fall off eventually.

What a rant! I loved all that. House imp. haha. Riya has reached the depths of slavery. Anupam's fault is to have such a daughter instead of a daughter like Bunty. This stubborn idiot is causing grief and annoyance everywhere and thinks she is a god's gift to everyone.
And Nandu showed some spine when he ignored glowering Preeti without answering her sarcastic query. I think the scales have fallen from his eyes.
