Parineeti & Ayushmann shooting in Kolkata

On May 16 Parineeti Chopra flew down to join Ayushmann Khurrana who'd arrived earlier in the month to romance the City of Joy. Since then it's been a joyride for the reel-life neighbours in hand-pulled rickshaws as they sprint across Kolkata, from Girish Park and St. Xavier's College to Dum Dum.

While Ayushmann is Abhimanyu Roy, a stereotypical Bengali babu and a writer, Pari plays a hip and happy-go-lucky aspiring singer Bindu. "This is her first film after a long layoff. She's in perfect shape and it's a young, cool and fresh look," points out a source.

They were shooting at a famous cake shop in Chowringhee recently when Ayushmann who has been learning Bengali from two teachers as his role demands that he speak a smattering of it, was delighted when he understood enough of the local lingo to know that someone was asking Pari in fluent bangle if she had any plans of tying the knot in real life soon. While it was all Latin and Greek to her, her co-star was quick to assure her that he had understood the question and translated it for her. She retorted with a definite "No, no."

Pari has only learnt two Bengali words so far, "hobe' (possible) and"hobe na" (impossible). And she is blithely confident that it's enough to get her through this film and shoot.
