cant wait for this movie to come out. i love salman.

Kyon Ki, which is actually a remake of Priyadarshan's Malayalam film 'Thalavattam', starring Mohanlal in the lead role, unites Salman Khan with Kareena Kapoor for the very first time. It is being termed a "comic tragedy".

Salman, who is a bit naughty and loves playing pranks, showcases in his role as an inmate of a mental institution. He meets a caring young nurse (Kareena Kapoor) while he is there and she slowly forms a bond with him, becoming ever more curious about his past.

Through flashbacks, we learn how Salman loses his mind in a series of horrifying events, which lead to the death of his wife (Rimi Sen). If the ending is the same as the original, be prepared and have your box of tissues ready. Kyon Ki is expected to hit the big screen during Diwali in November 2005.
