Great post! Thank you Sam! 😃 I agree that the episode was a bit choppy today but within the context of Hindi serial world, when the overall story is running as smoothly as this one, with multiple interesting subplots, 7-8 khoon maaf! 😆
I think I may be in the minority but I think Sona's mumbling perfectly captures the stage of her love. Just being around Dev makes her incredibly nervous and as much as she might want to be her outspoken self, it is very difficult when your heart is pounding mile a minute! To me, her mumbling shows just how vulnerable she feels whenever she is close to him or thinking about him. That first blush of love can really make you feel like someone just punched you in the stomach 100% of the time, and trying to mash that down and be your normal self, especially when the other person has no idea what's going on... It makes Sona super endearing and real to me since no matter how strong and sensible we are otherwise, love can turn the best of us loopy to some extent! Omg! All this you've written is beautifully explained! Especially love the words in bold! I guess that jittery feeling will never escape her now and how she manages to compose herself is her test 😆But I love how the conversation about Dev's clothes made Sona forget all about her shyness. For a moment she remembered that along with being Dev Dixit, the peerless prince of her dreams, he was also Dev Dixit, adorable man-child. Her uninhibited laughter was so refreshing, and I loved Dev's reaction to it, trying hard to conceal his own smile. 😳And the bonnet scene. It was really interesting as a continuation of the phone call Dev made to Sona a few episodes ago. I mean, she offered to make him coffee at home, but clearly he had other plans. 😉Made me feel like he was eager for the opportunity to have a few minutes with her so he could pour his heart out. And he didn't waste a minute getting straight to the matter! He's been holding these feelings in for so long that they just came tumbling out to the one person he felt wouldn't turn him away. His mother has already refused to give him an opinion, and for all that Tina does for him, she didn't indulge this conversation. He's used to peope turning his personal problems away and he assumes Sona feels the same, but with her he demands an opinion until she opens up. Oh yes! There's this expectation he has with Sona now that somehow, she will open his eyes to seeing a different side to a situation. It's funny how he says he doesn't know of any signs of love but I feel that he is experiencing the germinating feelings of love which he himself is unable to see yet. All in good time I hope!Man, what a task that must have been for our poor Sona! I love that she managed to be there for him as a friend even though he was talking to her about another girl.As for Natasha, I think she was trying to show how chill she was with the idea of Dev being friends with Sona. Like, not at all the type of girl to be insecure or jealous 😎 What is interesting is that she already sees Sona as a part of the family that she has to please along with the others. 😉 lol, for someone who intends to impress and catch a fish like Dev, she is doing...nada 😆

Oh yay! You already made a post.. Now I don't have to bother. 😆 I enjoyed today's episode for the simple fact that it was a huge improvement from yesterday. Word! Sona day-dreaming while stitching on the button 😆 I liked the playful smile she had when the needle pricked Dev... She wasn't sorry at all there 😆 What I also liked was Dev's immediate concern when she pricks herself instead. I love how his voice takes on this gentle edge everytime he gets worried about her. This man cares so much about Sona. Oh I noticed this too! It's so frustrating as a viewer to see him show so much concern but he has absolutely no clue what it means One sneeze and he was rushing to her side to make sure she is alright. Oh yeah, Dev. Love has DEFINITELY not happened to you yet.
Anyway, I have never heard about this particular superstition but I absolutely loved how he took it seriously because she took it seriously. More importantly ofcourse, that he unlike Mami, totally considers her as an 'apna'. Adorable scene! So true! I believe in this superstition 😆 It's what sets Sona apart from Nuts in a way. Her quirky traits that make her unique. Sona will ALWAYS have the advantage over Natasha. Everything Sona does conveys her concern and care for Dev. That's not even an effort. It's a sort of natural, instinctive reflex action/reaction to everything Dev says or does.Mami going absolute gaga over the expensive clothes Natasha bought for everyone and Ishwari just being wary of the same because of the talk she has had with Dev... I liked how although Natasha says she is a 'homely' girl, she picked a very materialistic way in an attempt to show her affection for the Dixits and try and win them over. Its a great contrast to all the small little things Sona has done that has let her gain a permanent place of sorts in their hearts. Oh yeah, it's her way of bonding with the girls and while it might be with good intentions, it's not the way to Dev's heart. That scene where Natasha asks Sona to convince Dev... Err right. 😆 I guess what Sam said is right, she thinks Sona is definitely in the list of people that she needs to please. Interesting interesting. 😆 What amused me here is that while Natasha is talking to Sona and says that Dev won't say no to her, he has this expression like "What makes you think I'd listen to Miss Bose instead?" but when Sona does ask him to do what Natasha wants he just straightens up and immediately concedes to the request. 😆 I also liked how Dev was trying so hard to be clear on the fact that this was nothing but a casual dinner, his unease with it being considered as a date was so clear. That's a great point you made about Natasha eventually leaving the dinner halfway because of work. They would never have any actual time for each other because they are both workaholics.Mami to Sona... Ahh harsh harsh. I liked how Sona stood her ground though. Curious to see if Nikki discovering Sona crying like that will lead up to anything. Will she mention it to anyone? Lets see. So glad you picked up on this too! For a long time, Sona has been listening to Mami's taunts and today, she went very far. Her words pricked Sona and I was feeling bad listening to her too. Mami's talks are now extending to Sona's class and status which are unnecessary and slightly spiteful. I am glad Sona shut her up 👏BTW I am really starting to wonder if Elena will end up in some serious trouble. This Vicky is upto no good at all. 🤔 And since I'm on the subject, I liked the amused and almost proud smile Sona had while Dev dealt with Vicky and didn't let him take the car out. Haha, love it too! So much respect she has for Dev! Loved what followed too. Dev clearly had no intention of staying in the house.. I was amused by how he quickly turned down her offer of coffee and suggested he drive her home instead and they can get some on the way. Mr. Dixit was clearly looking for an opportunity to be alone with her. It sort of made sense to me too.. Just this morning they had been interrupted and he had to leave. I think he might have possibly wanted to avoid that because there is so much on his mind that he needs to let out. The car scene was all kinds of sweet and adorable hahahaha I loved how Sona openly laughed at the idea of Tina and his Mom buying him clothes. It was also a clever way of slipping in a suggestion that Dev should wear more bright colors... Orange candy is on the way soon. 😆Coming to the scene where they are perched upon the bonnet of his car... Loved it overall. I liked how he jumps straight to the subject and everything just comes out. I didn't mind Sona mumbling hahaha... Sure they have talked and shared things before but this... Just this set up... Sitting on the bonnet of his car, sipping coffee and talking... Its a bit intimate don't you think? Absolutely 👍🏼, you don't just do that with an employee! I think they have completely left that boss-employee relationship now. It is intimate. When I think of two people and a car, I think long drives, late night getaways and a place to get some privacy ya know? 😆 How these two have transitioned to such a setting is quite something. It's amazing to see the ease with which Dev brings coffee to Sona and says 'careful, it's hot.' Just so causal and caring! He sees her as his friend right now but she doesn't so her thoughts should naturally be a bit all over the place on being with him in such a 'date-like' situation and she's bound to be a bit awkward and quiet. I like how carefully Sona listens to Dev everytime. I also liked how he admitted today why he felt he could share things with her.. He said pretty much the same things that I wrote about when he called her. I love how he not only needs for her to help him but also how he seems to trust in the fact that she can. The lines you quoted from the scene were my favorite too. 😆What Sona said about when two people love each other they are willing to wait for the other person regardless of how long it takes was particularly insightful too... It not only showcased Sona's own feelings and how she is willing to wait for Dev but also felt like a foreshadowing of sorts for Dev & Sona's own love story. Wait and longing is going to be an inevitable part of their journey even after Dev realizes he is in love with him. Anyway, amidst all this seriousness, I loved how Dev threw an incredulous "Maami ko bhi pasand hai, can you imagine, Mami ko?!" That little joke was such a clear testimony of how Dev really does feel that Sona is his family. You never talk about your weird relatives like that with an outsider. Oh I so picked up on that too! Snap! Another bit I loved was when Sona says towards the end that she's going to say something he's not going to like and like a child, he crosses his arms over his knees. He's all ears! 😆 I'm glad there's still more left with this scene, waiting to see how things progress tomorrow! 😃
