There is nothing much left to mention about the dialogues of Raman. It does not worth to discuss why he said and what he said. Even in monologue, he repeats the same gross words which emphasizes that is what he means truly. So now all the doors and windows are shut to show him as a human anymore. But we can't trust the brilliance of our adorable CV's because when Shagun can be made as a good person in no time then why not Raman? Well, we know in one fine episode, he is going to cry buckets and will save the people from drought in fiction.
Coming to the topic, its not about whether he is hurt or feeling guilty or a complex soul. Its about how nicely thirukkural fits even for these crappy characters.
Raman : "Theeyinal sutta punn ullaarum aaraathe naavinaal sutta vadu"
Meaning: The wounds caused by fire may heel and get vanished with time but the wounds caused by words never.
from character POV: Will make Ishita hurt which she can't get healed over time.
Ishita: "Inna seitharai oruthal avar naana nannayam seithu vidal"
Meaning: If others harm you, its better do good to them, so that they are shamed and realize their mistakes.
from character POV: Better you continue bursting out your anger on me and I continue being doormat and help you such that you live a peaceful life with Shagun later.
...
Raman: "Thannaiththaan kaakkin chinamkaakka kaavaakkaal thannaiye kollum sinam"
Meaning: One who wants to save himself, keep off or guard against anger, otherwise the anger that is not held back will come upon him and destroy him.
from character POV: He is in self-destruction mode.
Ishita: "Epporul yaar yaar vaai ketpinum apporul meipporul kaanbadharivu"
Meaning: From whomsoever one hears about a thing, it is wisdom to understand the truth import of it.
from character POV: She understood the roots of the problem by even analyzing his shitty words.
I know what she did and what he said, so no point in justifying his words. His character is currently beyond repair and only comedy is the remedy. So no serious arguments from my side.
Note 1: Sorry to incorporate the great thirukkural for this stupid storyline. But its my habit to link anything and everything with thirukkural. So take it in a funny note.
