Michi- Blood type characteristics

I will have to thank Magno again for inspiring this post. She had mentioned something about blood types and characteristics of individuals in her post in one of the threads which made interesting reading. Checked this up in the internet and found this chart.

Japanese Blood Type Personality Chart
Type A
Best Traits:	Earnest, creative, sensible.
Worst Traits:	Fastidious, overearnest.
Type B
Best Traits:	Wild, a doer, cheerful.
Worst Traits:	Selfish, irresponsible.
Type AB
Best Traits:	Cool, controlled, rational.
Worst Traits:	Critical, indecisive.
Type O
Best Traits:	Agreeable, sociable, an optimist.
Worst Traits:	Vain, careless.

Though the blood type theory of people's characteristics is largely debunked, I thought it would be interesting to see how much it holds up for us and what would the boold types of Michi be if this does hold for them.

I am AB type. Dont know about my best traits (though I am told I am rational most of the times) but the worst ones sure match! My husband who is an O does have the best traits of his group, especially the optimism part. About his worst qualities he may be a just a little vain but cannot be classified as careless though.

Wonder what our Michi will be, if this blood type characteristics are to be applied to them.

I think Prachi will be A since she is definitely earnest in all her actions, though they dont get her anywhere these days and yes, very creative in all the lies she tells (though most of the time they are pretty foolish). The last time she was sensible was on October 15th. She has taken leave of her senses since then. Not sure what fastidicious means. I think it means false and if it does her actions do seem false to others. And her problems are because she is overearnest. For me Prachi is definitely type A.

Now coming to Milsi, he is more confusing. He seems to exhibit a little of traits of all the groups. He is earnest like in Type A, wild and a doer like in Type B (though not very cheerful), optimist like in O, critical as in AB.

So any views on this? How does this chart match up to your blood group and what is your take on Michi's blood type.

Hey Optimist - that's interesting. Fastidious means paying too much attention to details. So Prachi is Earnest, creative, sensible, Fastidious, overearnest??

Well, I am a type A myself. No wonder I have a soft corner for her 😉

I'd guess Milind's a type O.

😃 Wah I must say now that the post that inspired this thread was made without rechecking the movie which I watched years ago, so don't count on the reliability of the quiz and its results (sorry for those who have no idea what I'm talking about 😕 ) Anyway the movie is Korean, telling characteristic by blood type seems to be fairly well-known in Korea though not as famous as in Japan, I think.

And yes I'm not sure what Milind is 😕 My guess is he's AB. Because he seems to be in certains extremes at times.

As for me hmmmph yes I do think I tend to be vain (I'm O) and can be careless, too. How sad😕 As for the best traits hehe maybe only others can judge. But I do feel optimistic most of the time.

Interesting article Magno. But you conveniently left out telling us whether the qualities ascribed to you (O type) in the article match up. Mine sure seems to match up with the chart I put up rather than with the one in the article (except for the dual personality bit which my husband would safely vouch for but then I am also a gemini). If Milsi is indeed AB, he can donate his blood to me (provided of course he is also negative)!!!

What about Neev and Ayesha's blood type?
Neev looks like he is O type. Everything fits him (agreeable, sociable, vain, careless) except the optimism bit. Even this I think he had it in plenty before Prachi broke his heart. Now all he can think of is devious plans which are generally backfiring on him.


And Ayesha, she sure seems to be B type (Wild, a doer, cheerful, selfish, irresponsible). Only the cheerful bit works selectively.i.e, every time she thinks she has succeeded in breaking up Michi.

Oh hehe yes I think even the other article matches me. Especially the officious part 😆 But I prefer to say that I take my responsibility (and power that comes with it) seriously 😉

Sadly I think Neev is indeed closest to O.

And I too think Ayesha's B, she matches up fine with both charts of B type.

🤣 Chatting (especially loudly) in public transportation is definitely not acceptable for Japanese in general 😆 That didn't stop me and my other foreigner friends from doing it, though😕 But we did try our best to minimize it😕 Yup they are definitely NOT devoid of emotions, they just don't think it's proper to show the emotions in public. Even among other East Asian countries' people the Japanese is a bit different considering this particular part. Seems like Indonesians are closer to Indians in expressing their emotions openly (though maybe the order would be Japanese- Indonesian- Indian😆. Sigh anyway I think I'll go to Japan again next year to see the wonderful Sakura blossoms in so many wonderful small parks of Tokyo 😊 I miss that wicked 'city' badly 😆

Hey Magno that is indeed me! Most of the traits of your latest list match my temperament, though I am definitely not mysterious. Infact I'm more of an open book. If there is any mystery in me then even I would have not realised it! Moreover, that thing about touch, that is not me (am a very touchy, touchy person!!!). And just realised that I am one of kind (there is just 1 per cent of the world's population that have my blood type!). That sure makes me feel important!!!

I am a B+VE....😉.....though about me being selfish........was...I think once...as one matures...one does change......😆 and irresponsible...maybe was once when young....now....can't say...😆

As for the O....sure is my hubby's and his family blood group and they aure are not that Optimistic people.....at all...😆 careless...yes maybe..and vain maybe too.....will try to take notice for sure.....😆

😆 Basically the negative blood are rare, right... Even more AB. You're indeed special😊 Be careful and do make preparations considering blood bank, though, just in case😕 I heard people with such rare blood type should periodically save their own blood.
