Badal felicitates ’Voice of India’ winner

Chandigarh (PTI): Ludhiana singer Ishmeet Singh was on Sunday felicitated by the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for winning the "Amul Star Voice of India".

Wishing a bright future to him, Badal said that Ishmeet's achievement is a great pride and honour for all the Punjabis. Ishmeet, through his superb and scintillating performance has became an icon and heart throb of millions of his admirers not in the country but across the world, Badal said.

Badal also greeted his family for supporting him in "bringing glory to the composite culture of our country in general."

Ishmeet won the grand finale of the talent hunt reality show in Mumbai.
