Gow n dev D did really well

Even gulaal was decent not a huge hit but all have become memorable almost cult films

I've only seen how because it's violence is quite cosmic bookesque:)

Did u see Ugly ? definitely you need to have heart of iron to watch it...u just can't watch towards end...very disturbing. GoW and DevD might have barely covered costs. Last 45 mins of Devd has only songs. In gulaal which was quite good - but 2 characters like jokers keep coming and going for no reason. So... certainly he makes movies for own satisfaction and doesn't care if it is a family entertainer or not.

His craziness shows in his work. Ugly was discussed in bw forum where everyone said it disturbing! That's why I said his films r not for the fainthearted

Wasseypur works cos the violence is comic book types n it's hilarious n gleeful. You feel like killing someone after That 😆

N Nawaaz is a revelation! Hats off! Him n manoj were kickass in the film!

It's very entertaining! His most fun film

Read the news that the producers of Sairat are so overwhelmed with the response that they are planning remakes of this film in Hindi, Gujarati and Telugu. Looks like they wish to spread this "young romance" keeda all over India. 😲

Neela saw the videos which you had posted...I was really bugged with the two guys from the film industry...they just couldnt tolerate Anagha's views. Her question was very valid. why do you'll give such dreams to 11-12 year olds...would you'll give this to your own children? those two really got bugged...their POV is so weird...seems Nilu Phule had said, "tamasha mule samaaj bigdat naahi and kirtana mule samaaj sudhrat naahi". Ok he might've told that, but I didnt like the way these guys justified the movie.

Seeing those discussions, I really dont feel like going for the movie, but my sis wants to see it 😕 and since her hubby cannot understand Marathi, i will have to accompany her 😔
